Great location

The place is very clean and it combines in a very original way the rustic elements with modern confort. The hosts are very friendly and eager to share with you the local traditions. You can taste a strong good pear "palinca", see traditional wood gates or wood sculptures on the edge of doors or windows. From what I heard, during the winter is even greater, sleigh with horses walks through the woods. Traditions during winter are well preserved and unique.

Lovely.Perfect.

This jewel of a place is located just outside the center of Borsa. Run by a lovely couple the place is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Thr room is large and tasteful. The amenities new. Comfy large bed. In the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen and nice dining area. No food is served but out front is a shop that has everything you need to make any meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Recommend the guest house

The guest house it's 20 min drive from Horses Waterfall and it's very nice and cozy. The owners are so very hospitable persons. They are waiting for their visitors with warm fresh donuts and hornica (local drink with alcohol), just like Romanians usually do in the villages.
The rooms are very clean, modern and very nice and rustic designed. They have private bathrooms, also very clean and nice (a minus for the pretty small shower cabin) and you can use their kitcken to prepare your breakfast, utilized with everything you need, which is at the main floor.
Also, there is a terrace above the rooms, very nice and traditionally decorated with views over the mountains, where you can sit and drink, eat, talk or play :)
They don't have a restaurant but they own a mixed store where from you can buy everything you need.
The garden can offer like 3-4 parking spots.

Good value for the price

2 pairs of travelers aged 60+ We came to visit the area
You can go to city by car or taxi (5 min driving 20 min walking)
Small room with huge balcony and shower room comfortable
No breakfast
Palinka & tzuika at welcome (Can buy if you like it)
Excellent WIFI signal input even in rooms
Ask about restaurants and parking in the city
free parking inside or close to.

Good place!

We spent one night on thus very nice pension. Really clean, with tv, a common kitchen, it offers also a nice space outside for a group bbq or simply a dinner with your half while looking at the mountains around. They have a very competitive price. The owner speaks Italian as well and he does a very good palinca!!
