Best experience ever
This was my first solo travel experience and my first time staying at a hostel, and I couldn't be happier that I chose One Fam Arbes. Initially, I was skeptical about staying in a hostel, but during my week there, I truly came to understand why they’re called "One Fam" — it genuinely felt like home.
I highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers. The variety of activities offered means you don’t even have to worry about planning your trip. Plus, the free dinners and drinking games are an amazing bonus that make socializing easy and bring everyone together.
I was especially impressed with the walking tours organized by One Fam. My favorite was led by Cal (Calum), who shared so much about the city and took us to the cathedral. He was incredibly organized, making the whole experience worry-free. It was hands down the best walking tour I’ve ever been on.
The volunteers at One Fam are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nele was an amazing party host, ensuring everyone had a great time and was looked after. Mary was always there when needed and is such a warm, loving, and passionate person. Their efforts, along with those of the entire team, made my stay unforgettable.
I can’t wait to visit again, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel chain to everyone!

During payment, my bank did not allow the transaction to go through for security reasons. I communicated with the staff by email that same night and the following day, and later called them to give them the details of all the cards I own. The staff provided no help whatsoever, except for constantly repeating the same scripted response: that I should contact my bank and that the reservation could only be held for 24 hours.
I was handling everything from work and calling them, yet there was no effort or empathy on their side to resolve the issue. In desperation, I canceled the reservation and made a new one to try again from the beginning. Afterwards, the staff told me not to do that because I would be charged for both reservations.
I work in tourism myself and in a hotel, and I cannot believe that business is conducted this way, with no understanding or willingness to help a guest with a booking issue. I am very disappointed because Hostelworld charged me twice for the reservation, and now the hostel itself would also charge me twice if the issue with the bank were resolved.

Comfortable and quiet with many activities to meet other travelers
Location, atmosphere, attention: complete combo of this hostel. Very close to the city center.
We divided our stay between private and shared room; the private room was spacious and comfortable, with large windows that illuminated the room perfectly. And the 4 bed dormitory room, was not for less, the bed comfortable and we were lucky with the other guests who were respectful and silent.
If you come to Prague, I recommend this hostel, plus every day they have activities for travelers to share and get to know each other.

If I return to Prague, I will stay here again
Very close to a Tram station, pharmacy, restaurants and the historic center of Prague. The staff is very friendly and always attentive, the room was very comfortable, I spent 3 nights in a private room with my partner and then another 3 nights in a shared room to live the shared experience in this Hostel.
Every day there are activities to participate and meet other travelers. The shared rooms were also comfortable, take your locker lock or else you can buy from reception for 100 Czech crowns, this is a hostel chain in Europe so I am looking forward to visiting another city where I can stay on Onefam.
I recommend it if you are looking for affordable accommodation with an excellent vibe.
