Amazing apartment/suite, very spacious for 6 people. (The pull out/sofa for two can sleep two kids comfortably), the main “double” bed can sleep 3 adults/4kids, it’s massive! Upstairs has two single beds and its own bathroom with shower.
Very clean, all that you need is provided, even a small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, cups/plates/cutlery if you need (no pots/pans, but we didnt need it).
The best thing is the location, short walk to Prague Castle, 15 mins walk to Petrin tower.
The tram station right infront of the hotel door.
Absolutely adored the interior of the hotel lobby, bar, restaurant and the rooms. It does have very chic “first republic” vibe, and it’s definitely worth the stay. We loved it!

Very nice hotel, its easy to travel with tram or take a walk to places like Karls Brück or Praha Hvrad, the castle if you like. Very quiot area. Hotel Savoy serves nice breakfast, and the room was clean. The bathroom was classy. I enjoyed my stay for three days, and Im glad to recomend Hotel Savoy for others.

Nice hotel in a great location to experience Prague Castle. Also convenient to the airport. Good breakfast. The only concern was needing to pay for using the gym or spa.

Beautiful, elegant and in a great location

After a pretty exhaustive search I tentatively selected the hotel Savoy for 3 nights in Prague and it was a fantastic choice. The hotel itself is elegant and beautiful from the moment you walk in. High quality surfaces, marble and dark woods, a library and the rooms are equally as nice with pink marble in the bathrooms, a shower, tub and a bidet! They rooms are huge by European standards as are the bathrooms.
The breakfast is also fantastic. A variety that includes everything from fresh fruit and breads, to hot options like eggs, potatoes and sausage. Pate, cold-cuts tomatoes, pastries. Not all things I eat, but sharing to help paint a picture.
IMO-the location is perfect. Prague is extremely busy-like overhwhelmingly packed during the high season, so staying far enough away to avoid suffocating crowds while close enough to easily go into the old city was important. There is also a park, the monastery and several other monuments very near the hotel. It is about a 1400m downhill walk to the river but there is a tram station directly across from the hotel if this isn't an option for you.
We arrived very early and the staff stored our bags made the effort to get us in a room as soon as possible.
There's a rooftop terrace which is nice to have, but doesn't offer spectacular views. (A nearby restaurant does, though-Loft-there's also a Vietnamese restaurant-Mali Buddha that is fantastic)
The one thing I was disappointed about was the fitness room. It was an important amenity for me for a number of reasons and disqualified several other hotels. I read other reviews stating it was small-so that was expected (treadmill, elliptical and a universal...no bike, no free weights or kettle balls, bands, etc.) BUT-be aware. They 1) charge you to use the fitness room. Not much, but that was unexpected and a bit frustrating as I've never come across this and it was not advertised in the list of amenities and 2) they have a spa attached to the fitness room so you cannot access it if anyone is using the spa! You must make a reservation and wait for anyone there to finish and the area is cleaned. This is also not advertised.
Overall-amazing and at a great price. Our rate placed us on the street side not facing the river and it was totally fine. 4th floor and no street noise reaches the room.
