Clean and cozy.
Most of the staff are friendly and courteous especially MUJ at reception, he was exceptional, really friendly, courteous and always had a smile, some of the other staff should take lessons from MUJ, thank you MUJ for making our stay special.
The room facilities were very good, lovely shower, comfy bed but it would have been nice to have an electrical kettle instead of a coffee making machine which would never give hot water for tea!
Breakfast was plentiful, mostly continental with the usual hams, cheese, fruit, cereal, croissants and yogurt, the only hot food that we could eat was scrambled eggs and bacon, it would have been nice to have a little more towards an Irish/English breakfast as in sausage, pudding, mushroom and beans, I had to eat the same scrambled eggs and bacon all week!
The location was ok, you could get a tram into town but mostly up a steap hill, in the end we just ordered a Bolt (taxi) as they are prompt and usually reasonable.
Overall a nice quiet cost hotel and reasonably priced.

A hidden gem - will be better once the renovations are complete
Rooms are recently renovated so are modern and comfortable. Staff are friendly and approachable.
Pricing is good - it would probably be double the price if it was in the centre of Prague. So, the 5 min tram / bus journey is definitely worth it.
However, the building work on the un-renovated side of the hotel definitely had an impact on my most recent stay. The inner courtyard is no longer a peaceful spot during the day, given it is half covered in tarpaulin and the building work starts at 7.30am and doesn’t finish until around 6pm. Also not worth getting a balcony as you are just a few metres from the work throughout the day. I am sure it will be lovely when finished but until then I will be requesting a room overlooking the street rather than the courtyard.

My only gripes were that i had a room on the top floor with a velux roof. The coffee machine and fridge were located at the far end of the room where the ceiling was low and you had to crouch down to make coffee.
Also there was no desk in the room and the tv didn't have any English language
Channels.
The breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard Mine was included in the price, but it wasn't worth the 20 euros that you would otherwise have to pay.
