Originally built in 1907, Hermitage Hotel Prague is located in Prague’s scenic second district, just a short distance from the Vltava River and Vysehrad Castle. Free WiFi and a rooftop gym are available.

Lovely hotel close to water
A fantastic hotel. Close to new town and with a short tram ride to Old Town.
Rooms lovely and clean.
Only short walk and you will find water with lovely walk along with cafe and bars on the water.
Breakfast great selection all different types of bread cereals yogurts and cooked items . One thing I would say is if you go down to breakfast any later than 8 and it starts to get really busy and with only one toaster you could be waiting.
But would definitely return staff all lovely and friendly and helpful when it came to asking about the trams.
Has a small but well equipped gym. But with all walking you do around prague you might not need it

Beautiful hotel and great location
Beautiful old building and quiet location near the river Moldau and tram stop. Staff was very friendly and everything in the hotel was very clean. Nice bar! I likec the hotel.more than some other hotels in the old toen that were nearly doppel expansive than the Hermittage.

Great experience
The hotel Hermitage is very nice. We had a quiet room. Denisa at the reception was very accommodating. She helped us navigating our way to the city center and arranged transportation to have a safe trip. She answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions. High commendation for Denisa. A hotel that somehow gets everything right
Hermitage Hotel Prague was one of those rare hotels where you arrive with high expectations and leave wondering whether you should simply move in permanently.
The room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The beds were so good that getting up in the morning became our greatest challenge in Prague, considerably harder than climbing the hill to Prague Castle. Everything felt modern, calm and well maintained, without losing the character of the building.
The staff were genuinely excellent: friendly, professional and helpful without ever feeling forced or overly formal. Every interaction was easy, warm and efficient. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The location is also superb. It is peaceful enough to get a proper night’s sleep, yet close enough to the centre that Prague’s sights, restaurants and public transport are easily accessible. It was an excellent base for exploring the city as a family.
Breakfast deserves a special mention. There was plenty of choice, the quality was consistently high, and even a selective child could find something to eat, which, as all parents know, is practically the hospitality equivalent of winning a Nobel Prize.
The hotel restaurant was another very pleasant surprise. Hotel restaurants can sometimes feel like a convenient last resort, but this one was genuinely excellent. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and far better than we had expected, good enough that we were happy to eat there more than once.
In summary: beautiful hotel, excellent rooms, wonderful staff, great breakfast, surprisingly excellent restaurant food and a very convenient location. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation.
Five stars, and honestly, the beds and the restaurant both deserve a sixth.
