The U Pramenu is located in a nice and quiet area, close to the old town of Plzen. It offers a restaurant, a lounge for celebrations and a conference room. All rooms are bright and elegantly furnished.

A little gem in Pilsen
I cannot say enough good things about this small hotel. The rooms are comfortable and so is the parking area inside the hotel premises. The staff is very friendly and they speak several languages to include English. There is plenty of hot water and the breakfast has many options. The price is also reasonable and there is a 20 minute walk from the hotel to downtown Pearson if you choose not to drive.

Comfortable, but with a few niggles
There is a lift, and free parking on site. Staff were pleasant and had some English.
Our en suite room was attractive and modern looking with access to a terrace running round 3 sides of the property ie shared and thus not private nor secure. The wide double bed was comfortable. Good storage space, but the small room safe was on the wardrobe floor at the back - not really easy to reach and use.
The bathroom was a reasonable size, the shower good, if small and a bit slippery - but had a good grab rail.
The wifi was extremely slow, and which was especially unfortunate as the only TV programmes were all in Czech.
BUT amazingly the only electric sockets were at the bottom of the headboard sides and set on sideways, plus on the bottom of the wall beyond the wide desk cum dressing table area, i.e. not easily reached by anyone and near impossible for older or disabled guests. So charging our electronic devices was a bit of a challenge!
The a/c did not work at well the first and hot night but worked well the next night after the handyman had attended to it.

A pleasant hotel in a quiet environment on the edge of the center of Pilsen
You can see that the reconstruction took place several years ago, but it breathes a historical atmosphere. Standard room equipment, sleep quality very good. Breakfast excellent, always some homemade cookies, which I appreciate. Parking directly in the hotel area. I definitely recommend.

Close to hospital and city
The breakfast was amazing: both in the setting of the tables, and the selection of the buffet food.
The hospital is within short walking distance.
The city center was easily accessible within walking distance.
Perfect for the short stay I needed.
