Right in the city center

Clean and quiet hotel in the city center. Breakfast was delicious and evening bar staff very helpful in getting us ice and glasses for our room. The town is very quiet this time of year with little to do.
Loved this hotel - great price!!!

4* Hotel La Fresca is exaggerated

I am happy to confirm my very long stay of over 10 days in this beautiful Central but unclean hotel. There's no corner. 4* for this is completely exaggerated. Staff tried and took the complaints seriously. Over the holidays, however, the staff were in no mood to help ensure that Hotel la Fresca was in top condition. Everywhere dust not only in the room but down in the salon the edges where the mirrors hang. The menage with oil, salt and pepper unhygienically open partly without a lid, The soils are only occasionally absorbed fog damp as needed and at whim. A well-run hotel also needs targeted follow-up day after day. Too bad, was already earlier guest and can therefore only say money is collected well but the value in terms of cleanliness is definitely not. At the deceived level 4* . Thank TripAdvisor.

Great location but otherwise somewhat disappointing

First the good: this hotel is located right in the main square, and it has a lift and a good breakfast. Now the not so good: the restaurant no longer offers meals (other than breakfast), and the standard rooms have basic furnishings with flat, lumpy pillows. Although we were disappointed compared to other four star hotels we have stayed at in the Czech Republic, the reasonable rate and air conditioning helped offset some of the deficiencies.

Charming hotel in a picturesque Czech town

This small fancy hotel is located in the main market square of Kromeriz - all the tourist attractions are within a short walk (some of them you can see from your window, if you get a front room). If you are too lazy to walk anywhere, there is a restaurant on the ground floor (if you miss dinner there, you will be served breakfast anyway). The rooms are nicely furnished, the bathroom is surprisingly large, everything is just as it should be to give you a moment of rest.

Nice hotel if only the aircon worked

As others have said this hotel is exceptionally well position on the main square. Check in was fine and room was clean. Bathroom nice with a good shower. My only issue was that as the weather was very warm the aircon needed to work. It did but wasn't man enough for the job. However as I had a room at the rear I could open the windows, thank goodness for earplugs which hushed the tolling church bells. Although the rear rooms have a poor outlook for some reason the room I had has opaque glass. Odd.
Breakfast was excellent and enjoyed on the front terrace.
