Excellent Hotel - very helpful Staff.

I was with a group of colleagues working in Most - decided on Chomutov after looking at Google maps of Most. Its a lovely Hotel - just my type , small family run - they could not do too much for you. Some of the Staff speak better English than others - but it was fun engaging with them. Its close to the town which has some good bars - Pepe Lopez is a great Mexican - not expensive - a bit smokey - but the food is excellent.
There is a supermarket next door - and as we were there in Feb - the issue of air con didn't arise - but I can imagine in the summer it could get noisy with the windows open. The traffic noise is not an issue with earplugs.
It was warn, clean and the food is some of the cheapest and best I have ever had.
I was there for over two weeks including a weekends. Importantly the wifi is OK. - a bit ropy for Skype in the evenings.

Too many shortcomings

Pretty close to the center and a supermarket. Self check-in and checkout. Large and well heated rooms; small bathroom but, still, comfortable. Unfortunately some shutters do not rise, being broken. Breakfast, barely discreet, served in a cold and inhospitable restaurant room. Not high prices

Nice hotel for short stay and business trips

Friendly staff, neat and clean rooms, has mini bar. Restaurant available with good food. Complimentary breakfast available. Laundry service available. No lift but it's only 3 floors. Walkable distance to shopping mall, city center and other areas.

Lovely Hotel but wrong area.

Stayed at the mertin in June this year. Everything was good value, rooms nice, restaurant good size only used it for breakfast which was ample. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices charged were very competitive for chomutov. One drawback was the position of the hotel right on a main cross-roads meaning a lot of traffic noise late at night and again early morning which does not bode for a quiet nights sleep in the summer as my room had no AC so we had to sleep with the window open for some cooling fresh air.

Good value, centrally located

Room are spacious, staff kind polite and helpful. Breakfast was OK, nothing extra but waiter would make you a great cup of coffee on request which is great. Tasteful antique décoration just bed was hard and bedsheets a bit too abrasive. But we managed and for 1200czk it is really a bargain.
