Historic Rooms in the Center of Český Krumlov

What a great place to stay for a visit to this historic town! There are only a few rooms; we were given our own key to the entrance since staff isn't always there. Ours was huge, with a big entry hall and dining area. Bed was very comfortable. They brought breakfast to the room at our chosen time- a great selection of food that varied each day.
If self-driving, parking is not an issue. The P1 parking lot is a 5-minute walk away, but get the pass from the staff for a significant discount.

The A/C was not working and I call the contact number. She said it was 7 pm so they couldn’t look at it until the following day. I said unacceptable and I would cancel my stay. In about 20 minutes, a lady tried to get remote to work and then changed the batteries. At that point she had trouble with A/C but it finally turned on. Unfortunately the fan speed could not be controlled even with new batteries. I moved out a day early due to A/C. Room is very basic and 2 floors up.

Lovely, quiet stay

As many other reviewers have mentioned, this is a very old, 15th or 16th century building, that is beautiful inside - as the pictures online demonstrate. There are 4 rooms, in different sizes and on different levels, so a good idea would be to discuss preferences when booking and note that there is no elevator with rooms starting on the second floor. Additionally, the CR experienced unusually warm temperatures while we were visiting, and while the old stone insulated cool air inside, we missed not having a/c (not an issue if weather was milder). We were greeted with a large pitcher of cool, fruit flavored water (delicious!) and loved the quiet and convenient location just off the major tourist routes. A large breakfast was served in the room, at a time selected by the guest, with a wide variety of items, including (for us) scrambled eggs. We had a glitch at the end of our stay, but the manager stepped in and worked hard to make everything right. This was a quiet and relaxing location.

Friendly guesthouse in the center of Cesky Krumlov

You can park at P1 for forty minutes for free and walk to the hotel to check in and get a pass for the parking. We paid 17 euro's for two days. We had to drive in and out of the parking lot to activate the new card. It's a five minute walk to the hotel.
There are only four rooms. We stayed in room number 4; this room was big with very nice beds. When we arrived tea and coffee was already in the room with some biscuits. The next day we got these again.
Our shower was in the bad, bud not convenient and the bathroom floor gets pretty wet.
Nice breakfast was served in the room.
Staff was very friendly.
