Lovely hotel - I highly recommend

We stayed at Hotel Budweis for one night recently when we were passing through Ceske Budejovice. I'm so glad we did! It was a great experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, and also modern, with enough storage and seating.
Breakfast had lots of options, and it was tasty. The staff were so friendly and welcoming — always smiling and helpful with any requirements like recommendations or directions.
The hotel’s location was great for exploring the city, and we always felt safe walking around. Would definitely come back and recommend it to other families!

Pleasant location

The reception was very friendly and in German. Our room on the 3rd floor. Floor was sufficiently large, with huge beds. It was all very clean.
The hotel has an underground car park and a parking space, which we did not notice on arrival. The underground parking cost about 8 euros.
The market square is just minutes away.
The hotel also has a restaurant, but the outdoor spaces were occupied. We ate in the restaurant of the Solnice Brewery, a few meters from the hotel.
Breakfast is served until 10:00. We were there at 9:30 am as we wanted to avoid the travelers from the two buses. The breakfast buffet is sufficient, the chef cleaned his stove extensively, so we no longer asked for an egg dish, but took the ready-made fried eggs. Hardly sausage.
Due to the location we would book it again.

Beautiful architecture

Very good quality hotel. Large rooms, fresh, well furnished. Hearty breakfast but perhaps a little below expectations. There is not much space for parking, but the staff is helpful in solving this problem. External and internal architecture really very nice.

A good place to stay, if you have to stay in České Budějovice

he hotel is right on the edge of the old town, very accessible to the old town, but not to much else. It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, which was a bit much with suitcases over cobbled streets. I had a corner room on the thrid floor, very spacious, with closets, safe, kettle, desk and so on. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good.
The bathroom is nice and large, but the shower is in a very high bathtub which is actually not easy to get into, and I'm not a short person. The shower itself is hand-held, meaning that i had to hold it in my hand while showering, and while there was plenty of hot water, I could never get the temperature right.
Also, I was there in the winter. The temperature in the room was just a bit on the cool side, and the thermostat seems to be pre-set. Not cold enough that I complained about it.

get to know Budweis

well-situated hotel, local near the main place, friendly people, visit a beer-hall, shops, bars or little villages around. The rooms are well-furnished, breakfast is fine. We were staying there over New Years Eve, the coaches can park just next to the hotel.
