A perfect staying
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere- I love the interior very much! The room was very nice - with a beautiful view, very comfortable bed and it was very clean.
Lovely restorant with a fantastic breacfast.
Customer service - very friendly and helpful.
I like the location - it isn't so far from the center. It's easy to find transport, but we prefered to go for walks (30 minutes).
It's perfect if you are going for a concert at Sono Music Club as we were. I'm really happy of our choice and will com back at this magnificent place.

Hubby's 60th birthday break away
Clean and nice bathroom but the strangest hotel we've ever stayed in.
Communication was poor, I emailed as needed to check out a day earlier but never received a response. So ended up paying for an extra night we didn't use ans thus confused the receptionist as we checked out.
Our room was extremely hot, windows don't open and the view we had was the metal heating viaduct. Once we'd fathomed the air con, it worked well Our room also had a huge concrete pillar in the middle and a concrete ceiling. It made me wonder of the hotel was previously a multi story car park. The exterior is really modern, there's not much nearby but the tram stop is only a few minutes away. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Sadly it's not a hotel I'd choose to stay in again.

Not really 4 stars
Reception and cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever practical issues we had. Had the penthouse and all was great. Bit overpriced parking and breakfast is really sub par compared to this supposedly being a 4 star hotel. We are not being particular picky, but the selection and quality was that of a 2 star. 1 elevator makes waiting sometimes long.

Great from the outside
Really compromised on the room size when staying at SONO; the single bed was just a few centimetres from the wall or window. Due to the external cleaning, there was a man almost directly outside my window so wasn't very comfortable despite being on the fifth floor!
Plus points were the panoramic lift, the location, and the breakfast. Also appreciated the cleanliness and size of the bathroom. But pretty expensive for a small space!

A few days in Brno
The hotel is new, modern, looks beautiful. We were in room 605. The room is small yet still perfect for stay. Everything was clean. The TV does not support Netflix (it was not expected). The bathroom with shower looks just great. One wall is just glass with a beautiful view to sunset. It cannot be opened. However, the AC works just fine for ventilation. These things together isolated us perfectly from any noise (with one exception, see later). The breakfast: perfect. Selection of eggs, bacon, cheese, sausages, bread, jam and many others. They offer bigger teapots than usually in hotels. Everything here was just perfect except for one thing: noise from the music club on Friday night. The noise was really strong; the music started at 10pm. Summary: it is a great choice, just not on Friday nights.
