Excellent hotel

Excelent silence hotel in the center of city. Great breakfest, nice staff and absolutly dog friendly. I can recommend it. Beautiful histirical building and clean rooms. Everything was ok. We will to back………… ……………………………………………………………..

Disappointment

We arrived at the hotel that we booked a couple of months ago and were informed that they had stopped with breakfast. No notification of this in advance. We were certainly compensated but we were not satisfied with the lack of information. The elevator was broken it was dusty and poorly cleaned and a sharp smell of cleaning products or perfume / fragrance preparations throughout the hotel. The rooms were large and quiet comfortable beds but as breakfast is important to us, this pulls down the score considerably

Never again!

I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Arte. The reception staff were unprofessional and made rude, offensive remarks towards guests. After reading their responses to online reviews, I was shocked by the complete lack of professionalism and hospitality. The hotel was dirty, with an awful smell throughout, and the rooms were in poor condition. I would strongly advise against staying here—this hotel was a huge letdown.

Central and affordable

The room was large, double bed , bright bathroom and very quiet. The only negative note is the attic ceiling against which I hit my head a couple of times before taking measurements! Breakfast offered was minimal but good quality. Friendly and professional staff. Prices appropriate to the category to which it belongs. Advisable

Very bad

Very bad experience.
We arrived at Brno station around 6.30pm
Let me start by saying that in the early afternoon we wrote to the hotel to ask for a taxi, it's a shame that the hotel didn't reply to us.
Once we arrived on site we called the hotel several times, as out of 10 taxis no one wanted to give us the service because we could only pay by credit card and not cash.
With the help of two wonderful guys we arrived at the hotel.
Completely devoid of staff even though they write that the reception is open from 7 in the morning until 9 in the evening.
The cleanliness of the room is not perfect especially the bathroom.
The most serious thing, in addition to not having responded to messages and calls, was not apologizing the next day and not asking the reason for the calls.
At breakfast the next day there was no one at the reception, only the dining room staff who did not speak English.
With the help of a translator we asked when the receptionist was arriving, not knowing what to say, they called her on the phone... We explained to her the misadventure of the evening before and asked her to kindly call us a reliable taxi that paid by card as without Czech currency but only euros.
She told us to go and collect it and that she didn't collaborate with taxis so at most she gave us a number after which we had to do it ourselves... Let me start by saying that outside the hotel there is a sign with its services where the service is also indicated Taxi.
Let me start by saying that we were unable to find a taxi that spoke English, and the hotel could certainly have acted as an intermediary for the translation.
For a tourist, the hotel is a point of reference.
I would also add that I asked for a pillow which was brought to me the next day!
The room was not cleaned at all for the last 2 days.
No change of towels, nothing in the bathroom...not to mention the carpet.
We had to go in person to at least ask for toilet paper!
Luckily on our penultimate day we finally found a new kind girl who apologized and brought us the missing things herself.
But unfortunately overall it was one
Very bad experience.
It doesn't even deserve one star.
