A very pleasant hotel

The Lemon Tree Hotel is set in a lovely building. I stayed in the upstairs room number five which had a comfortable double bed and a well appointed ensuite with shower. There was ample storage space for clothes. There was tea, coffee and bottled water in the room which was a nice touch. The room was very warm - perhaps a bit too warm if anything. There was a delightful view of someone's back yard too. I booked "room only" but elected to pay extra for breakfast. It should be noted that the breakfast was more of a "cafe style" arrangement. In other words, you are given a menu containing individually priced items. I had the full Welsh breakfast and a pot of tea. It was very good and served with a smile. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Wrexham General Railway Station and about 15 minutes walk to The Racecourse Ground. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and would certainly return one day.

The staff were great - friendly and helpful with directions and ideas of things to do. The room was perfectly fine. Two bottles of sparking water and some cookies were provided in the room. The only complaint we had was that the fan, which was very much needed during the heat wave, was rather noisy (it squeaked as it rotated) making it hard to sleep well. We were only there one night, otherwise we would have asked for a new one.

Lovely staff, Lovely hotel

Clean room with all amenities needed for 1 night stay including fan and hairdryer.

This is where we stay in Wrexham!

Outstanding restaurant, incredibly friendly staff, with clean rooms. This was our second time here. We are so happy to get the Sunday roast!!

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Access to car park is very narrow, beware.
Delicious full breakfast.
