Beautiful place to stay

What a stunning setting!
We loved the decor in the hotel - very tastefully done with some quirky interiors that made it very cosy.
We had a room with double aspect view - very quiet and peaceful at night
bed was really comfy and bed linen and towels were of good quality
Nicely decorated bathroom - The ceiling over the shower was low if you are very tall !
Food was very good - there was lots of choice at breakfast and dinner
All of the staff we met were so polite and helpful which really made our stay more enjoyable

Everything we hoped it would be

This was the best meal we have had this year , it’s not just the food which was excellent, but the setting truly magical, set within the most beautiful laid out garden , and the service we received from first to last encounter was genuinely welcoming.
Was tempted not to write a review as I can see Sculthorpe mill becoming over populated, truly pleased to have experienced this place when we did

Wonderful night, good food, Lovely room a real treat

Perfect retreat, Lovely room, wonderful Staff, fabulous night. This really did exceed our expectations. The room was lovely with a lovely view, we had a walk before drinks in the bar, the food was fabulous, but what stood out the most, was how truly Lovely the staff are, nothing was too much. The food was delicious five star service at a reasonable cost. I would totally recommend it and hope to return again soon. Jackie

Faultless

I've stayed in other Norfolk hotels that charge twice as much, and are only half as nice. Apart from the idyllic setting, excellent food, comfortable bed and professional service, what really sets this place apart is the attention to detail and the enthusiastic staff.
We were spending the weekend at a craft fair at Fakenham racecourse and booked a night here as a treat, which is exactly what it was!

Disappointed.

Good service, lovely pub disappointed in the dry burger for nearly £19. What a let down.
