Lovely family park and a brilliant base for exploring Kent
We’ve had a really lovely stay at Foxhunter Park and would definitely recommend it for families looking for a quieter holiday park and a good base for exploring the area.
The pool was easily the highlight of the park for us. My girls absolutely loved it and wanted to be in there whenever they could! The play park was also a big hit. Our girls are 10 and loved having a little bit of independence and being able to walk there by themselves, as it was only a very short walk from our caravan.
The park itself is fairly quiet and doesn’t have loads of entertainment and activities, but that was actually perfect for us. We don’t tend to use organised entertainment on holiday, so having the pool, play park and somewhere peaceful to come back to after our days out was exactly what we wanted.
The only slight disappointment was the arcade on site, as quite a few of the machines weren’t working during our stay. However, this really wasn’t a big issue for us because the park is so close to several seaside towns that the girls still got more than enough arcade time while we were out!
One of the biggest positives was definitely the location. We couldn’t believe how many lovely beaches and seaside towns were within such an easy drive. We visited Broadstairs/Viking Bay, Ramsgate, Margate and Herne Bay and had some brilliant days out without having to travel far.
The park felt peaceful and well looked after, and we really liked the position of our caravan. We’ve made some lovely family memories here and the girls have had a brilliant time.
The pool alone would probably convince them to come back!

A lovely stay at Foxhunter
We had a lovely holiday in Kent staying at The Foxhunter Park. We stayed in a value plus caravan and the 4 of us just about had enough room over our week stay. The kids loved the park, especially the outdoors pool. The park was clean and the staff helpful and friendly.

Not a 5 star park but had a nice time
Just got back from a week at the foxhunter Park.
The photos on here I think have been taken very cleverly and are not completely accurate as to what the park is like.
When we arrived at the park it looked a little like a caravan sales sight which was a bit of an eye saw.
The pool area was nice but there was no slide or water fall as depicted on the website so was a bit deceiving.
There were no outdoor pool activities when we were there ,no staff manning the pool pretty much zero staff involvement at all if I'm honest
However the pool is clean and open all day an the kids loved it.
The caravan was basic which I suppose u get what you pay for although there were 6 of us on not enough bedding an cups for everyone as well as no grill tray for the grill, no oven gloves and no towels.
I did email reception an they replied 5 days later, I did go into reception an the issues we had were resolved but the lack of customer care was a little disappointing.
The le club was pretty much a local pub but was fine for what we needed it for.
Overall I think the main thing that let this park down was the entertainment it was pretty non existent bingo an karaoke was it.
Had the entertainment been better I think regardless of the lack of essentials in the caravan I'd of given a higher review.

Helpful grounds team
My electric shower went down at 7 at night and the park reception was all closed, no one was available apart from the clubhouse who said they couldn’t help at that time and to go to reception in the morning. Just by chance i passed some builders still working on the park, i asked them if they could please him me out as it was just myself and my children. Even though they were packing up to go home the boss sent there electrician and he spent 20 minutes fixing the issue for me. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the lads from Holland groundwork’s, it’s the least I can do as they refused to take any money from me, Really nice group of guys.

Lovely place, friendly staff, exceeded expectations
Just returned from a midweek break. Having read some of the reviews I was starting to worry what we were going to find. Each and every staff member we spoke to were so friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. From reception, bar staff, entertainment and maintenance everyone always said hi and checked in if things were OK and they always were. The pool was a highlight and warm even in the rain. There is some entertainment mainly in the evening and the kids bingo was a big hit as normally can't join in. Ate a few times in clubhouse all reasonable price and nice enough for what we wanted. Great base to explore local towns a d premium caravan was as advertised. No complaints from us and we will be back
