Brilliant weekend

We had a lovely weekend at the resort. We stayed in a pirate room which was great. Our girls (aged 6 and 8) were thrilled with their special little hideaway. They found the 3 tier bunk beds very exciting and loved the little 'den' underneath.
The bathroom was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was handy to have a kettle, microwave and mini fridge.
Overall, we had a brilliant experience. We all enjoyed our few days at the park. The rides were perfect for our girls ages. We were lucky that we didn't have to queue for the rides either. A very enjoyable weekend!

The whole place is run down and needs an overhaul. We stayed in the princess rooms. There was an overwhelming smell of damp/mustyness. It needs a renovation. You can book other places close by for a better stay. Staff we met were helpful. This review is purely based on the room and accommodation itself

We really enjoyed the whole stay. The scenery and set up is beautiful. Our room was lovely and bedding clean. Staff were amazing. Very friendly.
The only issue we had was the food. We have a meal in the restaurant and it was £16 for a microwave curry. Drinks expensive and breakfast basic. This is the only thing to let it down. However there is plenty of food options in Matlock Bath itself.

I booked a comfort room as it was just myself and my partner staying. We arrived earlier than check in so parked to car in the car park and carried on with our day. Reception and most of the accommodation is up a steep hill. At check in time the receptionist was lovely and gave us all the information needed. Our accommodation was back down near the bottom of the hill and had own parking area. The block looked and felt pretty new it was called willows and was all wind in the willows themed. Our room was called rabbit, it was very clean and couldn’t fault it at all. Would definitely stay there again

There was a lot of dust around especially at high level.We expected to get continental breakfast but were told due to their been a lot of children there it wasn’t possible.When we booked, A continental breakfast was mentioned in the booking then when we got there we were told it wasn’t possible.The tea coffee milk and sugar were poor, we had to go and get some more from the desk.They seemed a little disorganised.
