Beautiful room and attentive staff

One is of nicest hotels in Manchester. Jodie really looked after me. My room (dalton) was amazing and I loved the complimentary crisps. Extra personal touches that make this boutique hotel value for money and a great stay. Will definitely return.

Lovely stay – would definitely recommend!

Before we came, I’d seen a few negative reviews, but our experience was completely positive! We stayed in the Dalton room, which is a basement room, and it was lovely spacious, clean, and warm. The bed was very comfortable, and I really loved the bath and the bubble bath provided was such a nice little touch.
My partner asked if breakfast could be delivered to our room, and the staff were happy to arrange that for us. We just had to call reception in the morning with our order. We asked for it to arrive at 10am, and it was delivered right on time!
We both had the full English breakfast. The sausages were delicious, though in my opinion there were perhaps a few too many flavours on one plate. My partner enjoyed his too, although he wasn’t keen on the spicy beans.
Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you to the team for making it such an enjoyable experience and for the perfectly timed breakfast delivery!

Overnight in the basement

We were very disappointed by our stay. The room was located in the second basement, without any windows or natural light, which was not mentioned at all when booking. Moreover, the lighting in the room amplified the feeling of being underground, it was a slightly oppressive experience. We were also cold because only a small electric radiator served as heating, which was insufficient. The price was clearly excessive in relation to the proposed service.
Moreover, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and we were disturbed by noises coming from the adjoining nightclub, until late at night.
Despite the central location and friendly staff, we do not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
