Comfortable stay with good food

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. Ate in the pub all 3 nights and the meals were excellent, with a wide ranging menu to choose from. (Note you need to book a table as restaurant is very popular: it was full all 3 evenings - including Monday). Breakfasts were also very good. An enjoyable stay.

Fine place

We spent 1 night here during our via Francigena pilgrims route. Nice room, good service. Because of the hot weather we wanted to leave early. Got a take away breakfast bag the night before. Well stocked. Food in restaurant is fine

Room was great and we were able to park outside the door which was appreciated. Our evening main meal in the pub was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anyone wanting a bub bed and breakfast.

Great stop over before the Ferry!

Ansolute Gem of a pub / BB...
Ideally placed outside Dover to catch ferry next day.
Busy on a Sunday night,always a good sign. Lovely spacious room...No 5..round the back is best as its more private.
Nice staff, polite and attentive.
Food looked good,but we only had a cheese board.
