Idea location

Very good stay, so close to Paddington, and within walking distance of Hyde Park, very helpful staff, would recommend

Good location and good price. But also small and old with many stairs and no lift. Okay for a day or two. Okay breakfast in the basement. But for the price and location is a good choice.

Dont forget earplugs!!

Single room was clean, but one of the smallest I've ever known, with a fridge, kettle and a tiny en suite bathroom.
Main issue was the noise from the trains which started in the morning till the early hours, and I was on the second floor!
I hate to think what it was like in the rooms on the ground floor.
I voiced my concerns to Reception but they said rooms on the top floor of the hotel were full.
I had 4 flights of steep stairs to my room and this could be an issue for anyone who has mobility problems as there is no lift.
The location and breakfast are good, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel if you're a light sleeper or struggle with stairs

Beautiful stay, only downside was the shower

I stayed from the 6th to the 8th of August. The hotel was decorated beautifully and the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfasts were really delicious and filling. I was on the top floor and sadly there is no lift but it does mean you get plenty of exercise. The room was lovely and although it was hot in London the room was able to be kept cool easily woth the provided fan or by keeping the window open. The only negative I can say is that the shower was quite hard to get used to as the hot water would sometomes come out the showerhead or you'd end up with a freezing shower. The water pressure was aldo very low so it made showering quite hard for me

Nice stay.

Just a few minutes' walk from Paddington Station and various shops. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, and there were fresh towels every day. The breakfast buffet was varied.
