A hidden gem

This is the kind of place you just hope to find. We wish we could have stayed more than one night, it felt like home. Thank you Helen and Steve for the amazing hospitality!

Lovely place to stay!

Hosts Helen and Steve made us very welcome. We were greeted with a cup of tea and slice of delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake. Our room was the upstairs large double with en-suite shower room. The bed was so comfortable and it was lovely to have two armchairs in the room and a large TV.
Breakfast is a choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, eggs (from their own hens) and homemade bread. Helen even made overnight oats for me, when she found out that’s what I like for breakfast.
The access to the property is down a short private road that has a few potholes in places but if you drive slowly it isn’t a big problem. It is worth it for the secluded and quiet location.
We had a lovely, relaxing week here.

Highly recommended.

After a disastrous experience with Scilly Air that day, we arrived very late at night to Beudy Bach. Our hosts stayed up to welcome us in, which was extremely good of them. The accommodation is perfection. You won't go wrong here. Highly recommended.

A real gem!

What a beautiful place to stay! This lovely little oasis of tranquility is run by Helen and Steve. Their home is an absolute delight. If you want a warm welcome, luxurious comfort and a great breakfast, stay here. We highly recommend it.

A Lifesaver Stay at a Hidden Gem – Warm Hospitality at Its Best!

After a disastrous booking elsewhere, my family and I found ourselves in need of somewhere to stay at very short notice. Helen truly came to our rescue. She accommodated us at Beudy Bach with just 30 minutes’ notice, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we were in safe hands.
Beudy Bach is a beautiful, tucked-away property, full of charm and tranquillity. Helen and Steve gave us a warm welcome and showed us to two immaculate twin rooms—one with an en-suite and the other with its own private bathroom and separate entrance. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and thoughtful touches like refreshments made it feel like a home away from home.
Helen and Steve are exceptional hosts—friendly, relaxed, and genuinely caring. They made us feel completely at ease, and even went out of their way to make sure our dog Pablo was well looked after, which meant a lot to us.
Despite the last-minute nature of our stay, Helen kindly arranged a dinner booking for us at a nearby pub, saving us yet again. The food was fantastic and just what we needed after a stressful day.
The next morning, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in their lovely kitchen—fresh eggs from their own chickens, homemade bread and marmalade, all served with great conversation. It was the perfect start to the day.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Beudy Bach to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay.
Helen and Steve, thank you both so much for your kindness and hospitality - we are very grateful and would love to return in the future!
