A Great Place to Stay

It was very clean and comfortable. I loved having a king size bed. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, but it is walkable to everything in Inverness. I really enjoyed my stay.

Not good

No warm welcome by host, no attention about honeymoon.
The bed was small and the bathroom sink too. Between the bedroom and the bathroom was a small gap behind the door where hairs from previous guests were. The shower head hose was mouldy. Near the toilet was a towel drying rack that was not clean.
The cleaner went to clean our room, no idea what they did only made up the bed and when we came back the door was left open. Luckily no valuables taken.
Oh and to finish the review, the walls are paper thin and doors are absolutely terrible, around 7:00 we were woken up by other guests leaving there room. Smashing doors whilst there were door closers above the door.

Comfortable stay

When we arrived we were easily able to navigate the self check in. Ample parking and clear instructions about how to enter the building and find our room were provided. Our family room was comfortable and clean. The room was small but we expected this. It’s a nice walk into the city center, especially along the water. The bakery down the street and around the corner was great and there’s a Tesco close by. Our first day, our toilet stopped working. We emailed the owners and they were quick to have the plumber in and the problem was fixed by the afternoon. We really appreciated their prompt response to this issue. The only reason we’re giving a 4/5 is the noise. The building is old and the walls paper thin, which again is to be expected however I think a reminder to all guests to remain considerate of others and to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm/11pm is something the owners should consider. We had several nights of being kept awake well into the early hours only then to be awoken again at 6am by people leaving/checking out for the day.
