Made memories with Mum magical.
Wanted the hotel to be a close to the Hydro as possible for easy access for my 80yo mother. This was our month of june celebration and for her to see Barry Manilow. An avid fan and only right i made it as comfy as possible. The hotel was lovely and clean & our room 428 was perfect. Great shower facilities huge comfy king size bed with the usual hairdryer, Iron and wifi.
Breakfast was £17 for both of us but plenty on offer to fuel the body ready for a day of shopping.
Within 5 minute proximity of the hotel is 2 stops for the hop on hop off city tours. Perfect for the usual downpours and having a heads up on the surroundings.
Advice to use overland to exhibition centre for the hotel or buses/uber.
Kinning park subway maybe the nearest as per the hotel website but its a 20 minute walk so be warned.
The staff at the hotel were lovely & friendly and made everyone feel relaxed & welcome.
Definately using this for our next visit.

This was such a lovely hotel. The manager was great and came to deliver extra pillows. Unfortunately we were unable to eat at the hotel due to a function. We nipped next door and plaid dominoes /Kenya and embraced a different vibe which was nice. The breakfast was really nice too.

Lovely hotel, generous sized room. Breakfast is varied & delicious. Where you que for coffee isn't ideal as it snarls up the entrance.
I thought id booked bed & breakfast but discovered at check in the cost was minus breakfast so another almost £150 to pay for 4 x2 😬 On exit the carpark cost £48 for 4 night stay. All adds up so quite expensive 😅

Excellent experience.
Staff were fantastic, hotel and rooms were very clean.
Slight issue with the TV which actually didn’t bother us but the manager insisted on providing us with complementary drinks at the bar.
Couldn’t fault the service. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good hotel
Stayed 4 nights on a first visit to Glasgow. Did not want to stay in the centre so chose this hotel in SEC area. Although there are a number of good brand hotels in the area, the area itself is a bit out on a limb. Short train journey to Glasgow Central and a 30 min walk along the Clyde footpath to the cente. A 10 min walk to Argyle Street where there are so many restaurants serving many different cuisines.
The hotel itsef - staff friendly, breakfast very good with a wide selection. Room very comfortable - good bed and pillows. Godd aircon although a bit noisy. Quiet room overlooking the Clyde. Good bathroom with good size towels.
Only negative was that biscuits in room only for first night!
Would return (and bring own biscuits!).
