Great stay

Had a lovely 5 day stay at The Forge. What can i say but perfect sums it up. Had the four poster king room, everything you needed was there. Breakfast cooked by Paul and served by Anne-Marie was delicious everything was fresh to order and cooked to perfection. Had a wonderful time would recommend anyone wanting a stay in the area to stay here you cannot do better.

Great setting, super accommodating!

The owners Paul and Ann-Marie kindly agreed to a third change in dates so we could attend a wedding nearby that kept having to change due to covid rules. They couldn't have been more helpful and it was great to meet them when we finally arrived there last week, bang opposite the Chequers restaurant in the village. Off-road parking was easy, checking in was covid appropriate but friendly, the room was beautifully in keeping with the house and that 'Cotswold expectation'. Four poster and good shower added to the stay. Breakfast on both days was excellent: flexible timing, plenty of choice, delicious food. Paul and Ann Marie were keen to help eg with walks, post office, but not at all intrusive. Would we go back? You bet!

Lovely Stay

We stayed at The Forge for 2 nights 6/7 June while touring the Cotswolds. Our en-suite room was spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The accommodation is perfectly placed for visiting the area and there are some lovely pubs that serve good food nearby . The Chequers Inn just over the road was very good. Anne -Marie and Paul were excellent hosts. We hope to return thank you. Margaret

Gorgeous place, amazing hospitality

We had a lovely visit to the Cotsworlds and stayed at the Forge. The room was lovely and so comfortable, the hosts were so friendly and we had two delicious breakfasts.
The Forge is a wonderful place to stay.

Joy and Dave

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this handsome old house located in a quiet village. The owners were charming, very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Our large room was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a large tv and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was great as a big or small as you wanted. An added bonus was the pub/restaurant across the road. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.
