A very warm Sandy who makes you feel welcome!! The rooms are large and clean - it was by far the best of our 5 B&Bs!

Sorbietrees - perfect for the Scottish Borders

We stayed at Sorbietrees for four nights in April 2026. We really enjoyed our stay with an very well appointed and warm room and full bathroom. Breakfast each day was above expectation. The b&b was perfectly located for our visit and the quiet of the country appreciated as was Sandy's friendly but not intrusive hosting.

Sorbietrees weekend

An amazing place to stay and Sandy and John could not have done anymore to make our stay better. We stayed in the William Armstrong Suite and it was a lovely clean, warm room, with a super comfortable bed and lashings of hot water for a shower or bath at all times of the day. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious with a wide range of offerings of both hot and cold food. This is a real gem and great value for money.

Never felt so at home!

Our hostess Sandy was warm and chatty. Nothing was too much bother. The room was warm and comfortable and the breakfast amazing. There is a cosy lounge and only a couple of rooms so it does feel like home from home. A gorgeous and historic property in beautiful surroundings.

A treat for a 60th birthday

A wonderful place to stay, sandy and John are the friendliest hosts. Nothing too much trouble for them and it was a lovely home from home experience. We will be back. The breakfasts were nicely cooked to order which we placed the night before.
