Two nights at the Crown Hotel

Excellent location just outside the station and some beautiful local walks.
I was in one of the cottages and the room was huge. Great facilities, really comfy bed.
Great value for money.
Good was excellent. Great cooked breakfast and excellent lunch/dinner menus.
Room was very clean and as we only stopped two nights we opted for no room cleaning and got a free drink.
It’s very quieter and very easy to get back to Carlisle on the train (10 minutes)
Would stay here again, great staff all very friendly. Nice leisure facilities as well.
A real find!

Graduation week getaway

Short but simple review. Comfortable rooms. Amazing 10/10 hospitality from the staff, they genuinely go above and beyond.
The food is also amazing, I strongly recommend the handmade steak burger or the pie.
Breakfast great! Gym/pool facilities great also.
If I could give it a 6/5 I would without a doubt.
Fantastic location in the Cumbria area, and a perfect stay for my graduation. One of the best hotels me and my family have stayed at, we were sad to leave!

Wonderful overnight stop

This must be the best overnight stop in the uk. Charming staff extra comfortable bed. Lovely linen excellent towels. Perfection!

A very comfortable hotel in a peaceful and convenient location

My wife and I stayed here for a night when travelling south from Scotland. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. The hotel is set in the pleasant, quiet, village of Wetheral near Carlisle and is very convenient when travelling north or south on the M6 / A74(M). Recommended.

Extremely good all round

Beautiful setting - great atmosphere- Nice room but could have done with A/C-Very good service and meals. All in all a special place to celebrate a special occasion.
