The room was small but clean. It happened to be very warm the day we arrived and there isn’t AC and no fan was provided.
Our breakfast was very good!

My friends and I stayed overnight during our Scottish road trip. As we all had sports cars, we wanted somewhere fairly close to the Duke's Pass and had (safe) parking for our cars – The Abbotsford did not disappoint.
Whilst parking was a little tight as they seemed to have a full house, we still managed to get all three cars safely parked. The dinner and breakfast experience was both pleasant and delightful. Whilst we're not expecting 'fine dining' the quality was good and perfectly acceptable.
My room was spacious, very comfortable, had a huge bathroom and a good night's sleep was had. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, accessible and helpful – so no complaints at all.
Would I recommend? Yes, absolutely. If I was in the area again, I'd happily re-book.

Room very clean ,parking easy and safe, breakfast very good, staff pleasant my only criticism is the serious nature of timings eg breakfast at 8:30 start which seems late if you are staying for work purposes and also we arrived for breakfast at 8:25 and the door was locked until 8:30 😀 while sitting having a drink in the bar was told last orders 9:30 1 couple only checked in at 9:25. I would have thought the bar would stay open later ?

Room was good but did need a bit of TLC, one curtain had a hole in it and just needed a spring clean.
Staff were excellent nothing too much trouble and food was delicious.

I loved the room, so cosy and we felt at home at once. The personal was friendly and easy going. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family
