Nothing to see here … move on … want to keep this gem to myself !
It is absolutely fabulous .. the location , the quality of the bedroom and the locally sourced food was amazing .
The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Lara and Freya .
Impressed with the quality and the price, we will definitely be back soon , thank you for all looking after us so well xx

Wonderful
The hero of this place is Anna greets you on arrival warmly, seats you for dinner and then again for breakfast. Lovely friendly smiles as with all the staff. Shout out to the kitchen great dinner great breakfast, thanks Chef.

Lovely overnight stay with breakfast
The room was the last one available on the website, but was beyond expectations. Up in the rafters, exposed beams and brick, with a tiny hobbit door to access, but large inside, with a big bathroom, large, comfy bed, modern TV, Nespresso machine, very cold fridge (with complimentary water), and air conditioning, which we were mightily glad of!
As the room was far enough away from the bar and function rooms, we weren't kept awake, and managed a lie-in until breakfast - which was also fantastic.

Surprise 60th Birthday Party
Well Anna and her team went above and beyond nothing was to much, even with a last minute hitch with entertainment.
Our room was upgraded along with another couple staying overnight.
Too much food, too much fun
Strongly recommend The Oaskmere for anyone planning a function small or large.
Anna came out with some lovely ideas for the function.
A very well done.
Can't wait to go back

Exceptional hospitality in beautiful surroundings
Despite arriving quite late in the evening, we were given such a warm and friendly welcome at check-in, which immediately set the tone for our stay. The Coach House was spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed. Even during the summer heat, the room stayed wonderfully cool, making it incredibly comfortable to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable too.
The hotel grounds are stunning and made for a lovely place to unwind before and after the festival. Breakfast was another highlight – the staff couldn’t have been more attentive or accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. If you live nearby, I'd reccommend this place for the coffee and locally sourced full breakfast. (I had the veggie option - one of the best veggie breakfasts I've had!)
Overall, it was a fantastic stay. We’d happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Oaksmere to friends and family. Thank you to everyone for making our weekend so enjoyable!
