Best roast dinner ever!!!!

Booked Sunday lunch here on our holiday to Somerset. What a find!! I've had a few roast dinners out and about but this was by far the best ive ever had. You get so much for your money!! The beef was so tender and tasty, massive Yorkshire pudding, plenty of roast potatoes ( I couldn't manage them all) roasted sliced carrots and parsnips, white cabbage, crushed swede, the tastiest red cabbage ive ever tasted. Stuffing ball, cauliflower cheese and extra gravy! So good!!! Staff were very friendly and we ate to 80s soundtrack highly recommended

Stayed here a few times. Nice room, clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast.

Excellent

Booked a lunch to celebrate a family birthday. Staff very welcoming and food absolutely fantastic. Very good value for money and would definitely return.

Lovely staff and good food and we had a lady singing while we ate it was a nice atmosphere :) as others have said the car park is tiny but there’s street parking too. Recommend

Dont even think about going

Having moved into the area we were keen to try our new local.
Cannot describe to you how disappointed we were with our first visit.
Firstly....parking...appalling. no consideration for the locals , we were told just park anywhere in front of the properties nearby with no consideration of the local inhabitants despite polite notice not to park over driveways etc.
The staff were very slow in taking even our drink order. And the place resembled more a childrens macdonalds than a nice pub. The noise was not conducive to an enjoyable night out. Food ...appalling. i sent my pizza back as it was totally raw 2/3rds of the way in and my husbsnd's burger was medocre at best. But the best of all ...the guests on the adjoining table spent the whoke time f..ing this and f..ing that the whole time they were there. Another table left because of this and we werent far behind.
Awful experience. We will not be returning.
