Amazing place
Amazing place to stay would definitely recommend, everything was perfect and not far from central pier was amazing

Good Quality at a reasonable price.
Friendly staff, clean rooms tastefully decorated, pool table and large screen T.V. in the lounge, well stocked bar which is only available to residents which allows a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and drinks at a reasonable price. Located only two streets back from the promenade, accessibility to Golden Mile is quick and easy and only a minute or two from tram and bus links. Although Hawthorn House does not do breakfast, there are two excellent cafe's within 100 metres, both reasonably priced with a good selection of food, and a multitude of hostelries within a few minutes walking distance. Despite these hostelries being fairly close, Hawthorn House is on a pleasantly quiet street so noise is really not an issue. Very highly recommended.

Great stay. excellent value for money!
We had a really enjoyable stay at Hawthorn House and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Blackpool.
We stayed in Room 8, which was surprisingly spacious and could easily accommodate 5–6 people. There is a bunk bed with a small double bed on the bottom, and there is also space for an additional baby or child’s bed if needed. A great option for families!
The location is excellent. You are just a short walk from the beach and promenade, with plenty of restaurants, takeaways, karaoke bars and entertainment nearby. The neighbourhood itself is a little dated, but that is also part of the typical Blackpool atmosphere. As you are right in the promenade area, it can be lively until late at night. You will hear people enjoying their night out and occasionally someone shouting in the street , so it is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for complete silence.
There is also a great little breakfast place directly across the road, with lovely staff, tasty food and very reasonable prices. Perfect for starting the day!
A special mention has to go to Wayne, the hotel manager. He is incredibly friendly, helpful and always willing to think along with you. You can ask him anything, and he is more than happy to give advice and recommendations about Blackpool. His hospitality really added to our experience.
Hawthorn House is an older building, but the owners clearly take good care of it. Everything inside was clean, tidy and well maintained. Of course, this is an affordable hotel, so we were not expecting ultra-modern luxury or designer rooms. For the price, we felt we got excellent value: lots of space, a fantastic location, a clean room and genuinely welcoming owners.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Considering the price, location and hospitality, we would happily stay at Hawthorn House again on our next trip to Blackpool!

Book it - you won’t be disappointed
3 night stay and we could not fault our stay at a family run place.
We have Stayed at many hotels/b&b’s in Blackpool and can never understand how the reviews given had such high ratings for what we consider to be poor accommodation
I am pleased to say the reviews left for the Hawthorn hotel are accurate and real.
The location was spot on, lots of bars within easy distance and the seafront very close
The room was spotless, tastefully decorated and large, the bed was comfortable and sheets fresh.
We have yet be repeat guests at any hotel/b&b in Blackpool, yet we would not hesitate to book here again.

Amazing. Definitely highly recommend
Read reviews on this hotel, so booked for Friday-Sunday. It DID NOT disappoint. Absolutely amazing hotel, it is room only but there is a cafe on the corner which is brilliant for breakfast.
Also you are allowed to have take aways in the bar/lounge which was fab at night whilst enjoying a drink.
The hotel was spotless, rooms amazing, colour co-ordinated. Fridge, kettle, TV, hair dryer in the room . Fresh milk given to you to put in fridge along with bottled water. Just so clean. The owners are brilliant, warm welcome, so friendly and helpful. Cannot do enough for you. Nothing too much trouble. Very family orientated. Pool table, darts, large TV in the bar. Right near central promenade. Approx 10 min walk to the tower.
