Beautiful Victorian Hotel

From the moment we got there, we were so impressed!
It's a beautiful building with an amazing ouylook straight onto the Menai Straits opposite Bangor on the mainland.
The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need (including a fan as we were in the midst of a heatwave) with a lovely, clean en suite. We also had a sea view, which was just gorgeous!!
The food was fabulous, we had breakfast every day (Linda and Carol (I think) were smashing) and also dinner twice when we weren't out and about. They also had a great little coffee bar, perfect for iced latte's and ice creams.
All of the staff were lovely, from the barman to the cleaning ladies doing our rooms. Often it's the people that make a holiday, as much as the place, in this case both were fabulous!
Great base for visiting all the amazing sights that North Wales has on offer. I hope to come back some day. Can't recommend highly enough!

Beautiful hotel but a bit worn in ares, in particular ratling windows.
Staff extremly helpful and friendly especially the breakfast ladies and reseptionist.
When we first booked with a voucher from Hotels.com Julia was extremely helpful.

Our regular place for drinks & lunch

Always visit when we holiday in Anglesey. We really enjoy sitting on the outside terrace watching the world go by. And also relax in the lounge with a pot of tea. Have often had lunch which has always been really good.
Will definitely be back in October.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and happy.
The carpets were grubby and furniture shabby but overall the interior looked pleasing.
