Great.

Great sleep, excellent breakfast, included, friendly staff. Excellent location. Not really any passing traffic noise either.
Room a litle small but no problem. Would stay again. Definately!

expensive can of coke

Food was good all staff but one were friendly. Male member of staff was rude and offhand. Warning a can of coke was £4.15.

Mothers Day Meal

We went here for a meal for Mothers Day.
The food was lovely and the service excellent. I would particularly mention the Barman - Corey - who was very polite and helpful, smiling all the time even when under pressure.

Great food

Such a lovely little pub. Great location right next to the river with an outside seating area too. The food was delicious with plenty of choice and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Friendly local with good food and beer

We live in Bakewell and eat out at The Castle 3 or 4 times a month. There is a good range of food, which is excellent value for money. Service is friendly and efficient.
Draft beer is well kept, although sometimes the choice is a little restricted.
