A Beautiful Stay Combining Art, Comfort, and Great Hospitality

We stayed at MACAM Hotel for two nights with our family and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a unique concept that combines modern comfort with art and history. One of the highlights of staying here is that your stay includes access to the museum, which is a fantastic bonus and definitely worth visiting.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing.
The location was perfect for us. It made it easy to explore the Belém area and other attractions outside Lisbon's historic center, while still being only a short Uber ride from downtown.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend MACAM Hotel to anyone looking for something a little different from a traditional city hotel.

Great choice

Beautifully restored historic building, very comfortable and well appointed guest rooms, great breakfast buffet, friendly and accommodating hotel staff. We only stayed one night while transiting thru Lisbon and didn’t have a chance to visit the attached art gallery which houses the owner’s extensive art collection.
We did find the dinner menu a bit limiting, and at least on the night we were there was very quiet. The location is conveniently a half hour drive to the airport but is also about the same drive time to the central tourist are of the city. If you don’t mind or prefer to be out of the tourist area this is a great choice and incredible value as compared to the hotels that are.

MACAM is a modern hotel inside of an art museum built in an old palace. Everything was amazing, the service, hospitality, breakfast, cleanliness, and art everywhere! And free entry to the museum! Would definitely recommend! It’s also convenient for access to the Congress Center

A very pleasant hotel with clean and fresh rooms, as well as a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and service-minded, and I truly enjoyed my stay. They consistently went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable.
The hotel is calm and relaxing, with a lovely rooftop terrace featuring a plunge pool. Unfortunately, the bar on the terrace was not yet open, which was a bit disappointing, although it was still possible to order from the restaurant.
The gym was the only thing I was somewhat disappointed with, but otherwise everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A MUST stay!!!

Do not pass up a chance to stay at this AMAZING hotel! We were so thrilled with our choice and want to tell everyone. This hotel is new, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing. Marta and David were so helpful, along with everyone else working. We had a gorgeous view and loved being in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to many places. Uber was cheap and easy to get. This hotel has a museum that you are able to visit as well…it’s gorgeous, don’t hesitate to book!
