Enjoyable Stay

We stayed at the Central Hostel for three nights. The staff were helpful and very accomodating, particularly the day staff. The location was great we were close to everything and able to walk everywhere. There were great communal spaces including a roof top terrace and downstairs kitchen. Breakfast was provided and quite good for a standard hostel breakfast. However the rooms were quite hot, the fans did not work and it was difficult to sleep (albeit we were there in the middle of summer). The bathrooms were poor, our toilet was constantly clogging and our shower had poor pressure. However overall we had a great stay and met some great people (the hostel ran great mixing events like BBQs and diners).

Great location

We spent two nights here and were delighted. The hostel is in a great location very close to the shopping squares with lots of places to eat very nearby. The rooms were clean and adequately furnished with comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little on the small side but had everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Good located

How its said in the title. The hostwl is very good located. You can get anYwhere by foot in a few minutes.. we had three different rooms.in every room was Something which doesnt work eg. The toilet flush or warm water in the shower. Some stuff guys give a very bored impression. The rooftop is nice.. they definately coule make some more of this hostel with a bit of effort

Dirty, uncomfortable and not recommandable

The one point is for the location of the hostel and because there is no option to give zero points..
The staff is all right but not very welcoming.. the house is completely dirty.. nobody washes dishes, there is a cleaning woman that comes once in the morning that cleans up the mess in the kitchen.. I felt like pre-cleaning all the tableware I used..
The the stairs behind the house which lead to the "praised roof terrace" is full of junk.. the roof terrace itself could be wonderful if it was not so run down.. Everything is full if ash and dust..
Our toilet did not work properly and we had little ants in the bathroom and bed.. The beds were very uncomfortable..At night it was loud and we woke up several times..
There were towels but they were old and smelly..
This could be a wonderful place if people would work for it.. I would not go there again.. for these conditions it is highly overpriced as well..

Great hostel

This hostel in my mind was ideal because it was only 4 min walk to everything but also far enough away to have a good night's sleep has an amazing roof top terrace as well. Good friendly staff reasonably clean.
