Comfortable stay with a gorgeous view of the lake!
Would like bigger plates for breakfast. Possibility of getting ice during the day would be great. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Stay away...
We are a mature couple. Stayed at the Ach Mazury hotel in Mikolajki. First impression was good. The hotel looks modern and recently renovated. But, our joy ended when entering the room. First of all, it's very small. Second, and most importantly, it has NO aircondioning. When we stayed there the weather was hot and humid which means this small room turns into a SAUNA! The hotel provided us with a small fan which was no help and we passed a terrible night, not being able to breath from the heat.
To makes things worst, the day after we returned to the room in the evening just to find it not cleaned. Apperantly, this hotel's policy is to clean every two days only....
And more: part of the room was soaking wet as there was a rain storm while we were gone and no one bothered to close the windows. At the reception he told us that it's our problem...
Braeakfast is very poor too. Very few choices, not tasty at all and almost no refills (and
remember you're eating in a hot dining room with no AC
Overall experience is poor. Stay away if you can...
One more thing: one of the receptionists doesn't speak even a word of English....

Go for it!
This year holiday we decided to spend in Mazur district, which was absolute unknown and a huge surprise for me and my boyfriend. Couldn't find the right place to stay, all option were already taken and then out of the sudden Ach!Mazury appeared with one room available. Not cheap, but I can definitely say: 100% worth it!!
The hotel must have been lately built because it is quite modern and well furnished in really modern but cosy style. Really clean I must admit and I find myself very strict when it comes to it.
Rooms: really cosy, freshly renovated so there was absolutely nothing complain about. Some people say walls between the rooms are way too thin but we didn't find this as a disadvantage (or maybe we just didn't happen to have noisy neighbors - except the last day when this massive argument between the husband and wives happened, but I'm sure people on the other side of the lake could hear them loud and clearly as well...). For us - perfect.
The bathroom - awesome. Big, spacious. Again nothing to complain about.
The most important: the view. Honestly, after we came back from our holiday I swear I could see it each time I closed my eyes... absolutely amazing view! You can see the sailors village, the lake. Seriously, it's even worth to go there even if you don't stay in this hotel (which is impossible with a key ;)
The roof: omg, again. Terrace!! With chairs and tables, great place for sunbathing or a cup of coffee or a bottle of cold cider in the evening - magnificent view one more time!
Food - breakfast were really good. Sausages and scrambled eggs, many many types of salads, fruits, veggies, cornflakes, yoghurt, juices, tea, coffee. And, if the weather lets you to eat outside, there is another terrace on the ground floor. Imagine eating breakfast with the view...
really close to the "center" - it looks bad when you look at the maps but it's only 6 minutes walk from the hotel to that restaurant part of mikolajki.
But! We found one flaw: when we got to Mikolajki the weather was more than perfect, hot and sunny. Our room was on the highest floor that's way it was getting really hot during the day. But hey, you don't spend the day in a hotel when you're on your holiday and sun is shining like someone pays it, right?
