We had a room overlooking the lake and it was lovely.

On my last of three nights there was a party in the conference room behind reception. I went down to reception at 10pm (what I would expect to be considered “silent hours” in Poland) and said I could hear the bass coming up through the walls. The ladies were quite dismissive and said they’ll have the music turned down. It still hadn’t been turned by midnight and I had to go down to complain. By this time my cortisol levels were so high I had trouble sleeping even once the music had been switched off. Apart from this one incident everything else was fine, although the shower head and rail in the bathroom definitely need replacing.

The room was clean and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Good on-site parking. In the warmer weather the amenities will be excellent. Traditional Polish food served.

Sadly wouldn’t recommend

Having just returned today from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Rudnik sadly I have very little positives to write , we paid £358 for our 3 nights which included breakfast and dinner , my partner is from grudziądz so we spend quite a bit of time in this beautiful city , she wanted to stay this time at the hotel as she has many happy memories by the lake as a child .
I will start with the food , I can say it’s easily the worst food I have experienced in Poland , I think this is down to the fact that the hotel already has your money so they don’t mind serving very poor quality food , apparently there is a menu and if you want to pay ( even though you must take the food as part of the package ) then the food is good? , we sadly didn’t experience that and only ate on our first night then went elsewhere every other time .
Then the room , the bed has a mattress that is far to small and shallow for the wooden frame , this makes for a very uncomfortable nights sleep , the pillows are old and fit only for the bin , we had towels in the bathroom covered in yellow stains and in our full 3 days we had no room clearing done , we had to request clean towels each day .
The location of the hotel is picturesque which makes it all the sadder that the owners put profit before quality .
The staff were polite and helpful when we requested any assistance.
