Good location, around 7 minutes walk to the closest bus stop.

My first visit was very satisfying, not over priced like all other hotels in the area. A comfortable bed, polite staff, bathroom was spotless as the cleaners kept it all tidy and organised through my visit. I will definitely come back.

Good B&B for car trip to Gdansk

This villa is fairly convenient for arriving by car, with free parking arranged in advance. Transport to centre of Gdansk and Tri-City locations is easy and cheap by bus (18 minutes) and the owner will explain in english all the options and recommendations. Very pleasant owner, and the rooms we had were well maintained and serviced to a high standard, with kettle, fridge, tv (all in polish) and wi-fi. We didn't take the breakfast option, but found the local shops handy for provisions, and major supermarket chains nearby. Surprisingly quiet given the location is in the middle of a housing development in the suburbs. We did get the occasional jet passing overhead on route to Gdansk airport.

Highly recommended

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Villa Alfa. I must say that our room was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard with a beautiful large bathroom. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the villa and the hosts Gregor and Theresa were a very helpful couple who couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were of a continental type with a good variety of meats, cheeses and yoghurts etc. Scrambled eggs and sausages were offered on alternate days which was a nice touch.
The Villa is around 5 km from Gdansk Old town and 12 km from Sopot (well worth a visit) but is easily accessible by bus which run nearby every 15 minutes or so costing less than £1.00.
I would not hesitate to book here again if we ever re visit. Andy & Pat

this is a great place to stay!

A friend and I stayed at Villa Alfa and absolutely loved everything! The owner and his wife could not have been nicer. They were extremely helpful in suggesting how to get to many places in and around Gdansk. They even printed out schedules for trains and buses and connections when necessary They certainly made us feel at home during our stay.Our rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, newly refurbished , and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. The villa is in a very nice and safe setting outside of the main city of Gdansk. We had thought that that might be a problem, but there were buses that came about every 15 minutes and took us into town in about 10 _12 minutes. The buses are very inexpensive and comfortable. There was also, a very small, but very good restaurant not far from the Vila Alfa which served delicious food as well as good pizzas. We ate there several times. The prices were very inexpensive and you get even get a discount if you tell them you are staying at Villa Alfa. We would definitely go back to Vila Alfa.

3 successful visits now

Villa Alfa is now my first choice when visiting Gdansk, having been 3 times.
Each room seems to have a different format (size, type of bathroom), but all are pleasant and clean. Having experience living in Poland I can say that the style is typically homely, in a Polish way.
Rooms are equipped with a fridge and kettle, internet access is provided, and the location is largely peaceful.
Some bathrooms are very spacious and bright, with windows, and with a small upgrade some of the rooms have bathrooms that can almost be described as spectacular in the context of a small hotel.
The residential district that the hotel is in is quiet, though it is close to the flightpath for landing planes. Aircraft movements are not frequent during the evening and almost non-existent at night.
Breakfast offers a good choice of drinks and foods (again, with a homely Polish style) and the hotel owner is friendly and attentive to guests needs. He also appears to be very good with languages. As I speak Polish reasonably I don't really know his level in English. However, I can imagine that will be good.
As previously stated, the location isn't suitable for those who don't want to step on to a bus or take a taxi, however for those coming by car it is ideal. Buses can be caught nearby and are regular and reliable, and take you to the heart of the city, or to the airport.
