With only 15 metres from the famous Neptune Fountain and 25 metres from King Arthur’s Court, the Dom Schumannów is housed in a renovated tenement house. Free Wi-Fi is provided. All rooms at the Schumannów are decorated in 17th and 18th-century style.

Hotel in Central Location

Located directly in the pedestrian zone, it is the oldest house in Gdansk. Unfortunately, the rooms only start on the 3rd and 4th floor, there is no lift available, therefore very laborious to go upstairs with the suitcases. I would recommend specifying the age so that the rooms on the 4th floor are not necessarily Stock can be awarded. It had the advantage that my friend in bed had a direct view of the bell tower of the town hall and we could enjoy the carillon.

No elevator, not easy to find

Good location but average room

Honestly a fantastic location right in the heart of Gdansk but I’d only suggest if you’re a deep sleeper; there seem to be a lot of British tourists that love singing late at night. The room provides all the basics but the bed has quite an uncomfortable headboard and the bathroom is quite tiny. Overall if you aren’t staying in your room much, I’d suggest this hotel but if you value your room time aswell as your outdoor time, I’d suggest somewhere else.

Terrible

Worst accommodation you have ever been to. Moisture damage and a strong smell of mould. Was supposed to stay three nights, but had to check out after the first night. Contacted reception who sent people to check the room. They confirmed the smell and visible moisture damage, but could not help with a new room as they were fully booked. Got nothing refunded by the hotel. Steer far away from this place.

Noisy

We were disappointed with this hotel in several ways. At first we were pleased with the location but there was a downside to this at night, when it was very noisy. Drunken revellers and a guitarist with two speakers still playing at 1am, the very old windows cut none of the sound out.
Our room was in the attic and there were quite a few flights of stairs to get up there, fortunately we didn't have large luggage.
We were there for three nights and although the towels were changed each day, the bed was never made, I have never known this in a hotel before.
Breakfast was next door in a cafe, it was quite good but there was no choice.
