Great place and charming helpful land lady
The hotel is very nice, cozy, rooms are big, with very nice and clean bathroom. Hot water were available all the time.
Breakfast was good with fruit juice, eggs, cheese, avocado, jem etc.
The lady hew rubs the place is amazing, so helpful with anything that we needed - arranging a ride, recommending restaurants, helping with finding a shoemaker etc. always running, always smiling.very recommended !

excellent hotel in the sacred valley
We discovered this hotel by chance after leaving another hotel in Urubamba, and are so glad we did. The hotel is run by a very helpful and kind lady who can speak basic english. She does whatever she can to help you.
The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and had a nice view of the surrounding mountains (not great). The breakfast was prepared by herself, which included eggs, fruit, bread, and cheese. Also, some coffee was available. Very typical breakfast for the area, but it was good.
There isn't a lot to do in Urubamba, but it is great to go see Moras and Moray, saltinas, and chinchero. We would stay here again if back in the area.

One of the best guesthouse we ever stayed at!
We stayed in this guesthouse for 5 nights and everything was perfect. It is on a very quiet street just 5 mns walk from main plaza. The room was super clean, very well maintained (like new) and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy and hot showers too (not always a given in Peru). This guesthouse has a great interior garden where you can chill out in the sun. The breakfast was amazing, great bread, cheese, eggs made to order, fruit, fresh fruit juice, great coffee (very important for a coffee addict like me!). Yhurema, the host, was super nice and super helpful, we felt like we were friends by the end of our stay. I miss her! Her English is good too. Honestly, we are big travelers and stayed in many many mid-range guesthouses all over the world and it doesn't get better than this one.

Wonderful gardens, charming and caring host. A real gem !
We had initially booked to stay in Urubamba and Hospedaje de La Florida for 2 nights but decided to extend our stay to 3 nights. The owner, Yhurema, was absolutely charming and very caring.
The room was huge even though there were just my wife and I. Yhurema had reserved a large triple room upon our request for a quiet area of the hotel. Yhurema's breakfasts were absolutely delicious. She offered us a choice of juice which she prepared with fresh fruit every morning. There was always fresh bread, cheese, jam, tea or coffee and eggs prepared to our liking.
The showers were very hot, the beds very comfortable and Wifi was excellent in the room.
Yhurema was very helpful with information about local restaurants and places to see. She and my wife hit it off, as both enjoy gardening, birds ( she has hummingbirds regularly visiting) and natural medicines. It was obvious that Yhurema's gardens and plants are a passion and she thoroughly enjoyed sharing her interest/knowledge with us. She offered my wife natural aloe when she noticed that my wife had a slight burn after a long day of touring. She helped us negotiate a better taxi rate to tour the various sites in Sacred Valley. From Urubamba, we took in the ruins of Moray, the town of Moras, La Salineras salt mines and the ruins and market of Pisac. We were grateful to have chosen Hospedaje La Florida and meet our outstanding host, Yhurema !

Charming Hotel
This is a very charming two-story hotel with a beautiful courtyard. Being in a small town, the hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shops. The rooms are nicely appointed and have nice views of the mountain and trees. The small lobby and the courtyard have old artifacts, which the friendly owners were eager to explain to us (after they learned that my son spoke Spanish). There are chairs outside the rooms so that we could enjoy the view. The breakfast was very nice, with bread, cheese, fruits, fresh juice, coffee, tea and made-to-order eggs.
