Awesome artwork and kind owner!

Beautiful hostel from the inside! Amazing artwork and the kindest owner! It’s close to the airport, which was most important to us. Not a lot of restaurants or sightseeing nearby, but inside the hostel there is plenty of artwork to see. Perfect when you need a night before a flight!

Chaos !

So chaotic it’s comical. I actually think they are cheating on the 5 stars.
Arriving at 9 p.m. for a flight the next morning, the manager tells me that he will come back in 5 minutes with my change. I waited 40 minutes, I wanted to sleep, and I saw him come back with a beer in his hand.
Breakfast was included, the day before he asked me what time I wanted it - 8:45 a.m. - he told me no worries. He never got up! I cooked myself.
I would say the manager is friendly, but not reliable.
At least it's clean!

Great for a quick stop over

Stayed here as a lay over before flying to Guatemala city. Henry (the owner) organised a taxi from the airport to the hostel and was so welcoming when we arrived. The hostel itself is really quirky and it's clear the owner has spent a lot of time, love and energy in the decor. Our private room was really clean. The area itself is a bit dodgy (we chose the hostel due to proximity to the airport) and although Henry gave us tips on where to eat nearby, I honestly didn't really feel comfortable when I was walking around the surrounding area - you can, however, order in if you want! Henry provided a breakfast early the next day before our flight and we got the same taxi driver back to the airport. Would stay again for a stopover but if staying in Lima to sight-see, I would chose a different area to explore.

Cozy bed, safe place, genuine hospitality

Due to a flight delay in Houston, I had an unexpected layover in Lima, Peru en route to Mendoza, Argentina. I was exhausted and desperately needed to sleep for some hours. I booked a room at Tierras Viajeras. I'd never been to Lima. The taxi ride there was a bit freaky as the taxi driver kept telling me this was not a good neighborhood and I should go to another place. Anyway, upon arrival at Tierra Viajeras, Henry (the proprietor) made me feel comfortable right away. He showed me the room and the next door bathroom. The place had a nice feel to it. The room was small but very cozy. The bed was very comfy and I had a delightful sleep after taking a shower. Henry called a taxi for me. While waiting for the taxi, a couple of musicians came in ... and they were all headed up to the rooftop to play. I felt sorry I wasn't able to stay as I'm sure it would have been a fun and soulful time. Being a lone female traveler in an exhausted state, I was grateful to spend the day in a safe place with kind people.

Great stay the night before an early flight!

Wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight. The hostel is about a 10-15 drive away from the airport.
The hostel was exactly what the needed and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Our private room was really nice with a comfortable bed and we had a peaceful night of sleep!
The owner ordered us a pizza and woke up early to make us breakfast before we left.
Would recommend a stay here!
