handy to Miraflores

very pleasant stay in Miraflores; walking distance to many sites in this suburb; neat and clean; good breakfast included; communication beforehand comprehensive; rooms are a bit airless

Excellent safe location 1 block from the malecón, 1/2 mile easy walk to Kennedy Park. Very friendly/helpful manager. Nice included breakfast. Basic small room, only toiletry provided was soap. Fairly tight stairs to get to top floors - 2 separate roof level terraces. Excellent value for the low price - would definitely stay here again!

We were robbed + 500€ in cash

The night we arrived we complained about the strong foul smell of drain in the bathroom of room 304. We are kindly informed that they have the full hotel but that the next morning they would give us another room.
After breakfast the next day we are asked to leave all luggage in room 304 and they would move it to the new room 402.
The next morning, my mother staying in another room informs us that silver earrings have disappeared and that is when we check my partner and I our luggage we see that from our wallets are missing +400 Swiss francs, €80, 100 Peruvian soles in cash. The manager informs us that only a middle-aged gentleman, cleaning staff, has moved our luggage. After going to report to the police, I ask the hotel for the key to the safe that after proving that it works and using it twice gets stuck with all our passports and documentation causing us to lose all morning of our last day.
We contacted the Spanish embassy who together with the Peruvian tourist police office have already requested the hotel surveillance cameras and opened an investigation.

We have been visiting all of Peru 3 weeks in 8 hotels with fantastic people and we have NEVER had anything like this happen. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. A huge upset and two days of our trip wasted.
I update: 1h after leaving the hotel, we are sent a picture that they have “found” the earrings under the bed table (a different place where they were left) on the side of the bed where my FATHER slept.
The money doesn't pay it back. What a theater.

Family and friendly accommodation

Ideal accommodation for family as it is very quiet and in a good area of Miraflores. They are always willing to help and I consider there is good value for money. Desew then I'd consider it again for another trip to the lime city
