The staff was so nice. The room was cleaned thoroughly. each day. I really enjoyed the location. The breakfast was very clean and food kept coming out that was fresh.

Dishonest and overpriced for what you get

Dishonest! Location is good, but the rooms are mediocre at best. I paid extra for a Jacuzzi that didn't work properly. Hot water was intermittent. The green eggs and sparse breakfast were edible, but certainly not enjoyable. The Sonata Hotel is a block and a half away and is a thousand times nicer and much cheaper (that's where I ended up after 1 horrible night).
I booked for 4 nights. But because my flight was canceled I arrived a day late, I knew I might have to pay for that first night, but they told me via WhatsApp not to worry about it and reported to Expedia that they gave me a full refund, there was no refund (they also reported the entire reservation was canceled, so I couldn't write a review on Expedia) - two dishonest moves. Then they charged me $25 more per night than I booked for- a third act of dishonesty. I left after one night and didn't return 2 weeks later as planned.
I travel to Peru frequently. I've stayed at the ML several times, but I haven't in years because of some issues they had. I decided to give them another try because I saw some good recent reviews. Big mistake - never again. Save yourself a big headache and a lot of money, and stay somewhere else.

The breakfast is superior to the ones offered at hotels like this one in the US. The cooks in the kitchen were so kind. In general, the hotel personnel was always kind, open and willing to help. The location was near the Miraflores action, very easy access to everything.

Room was clean. No AC can make the room hot in the summer (February). Front desk was very welcoming and helpful with all questions.

Avoid staying here when the outside temperature is warm/hot

The hotel is located near the Kennedy park in Miraflores on a quiet street. I liked the location. No air conditioning in rooms. The floor was dusty/dirty - may have been swept , but not mopped. I don't like hotels quoting prices in PEN/Soles and charging in $ or vice versa.
