We loved our stay at Palacio del Inka. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Check in with Paola was easy and warm, she was so friendly, thank you, Paola! Lydia helped us arrange the spa without any stress, and Josvien stood out by helping with our bags and even remembering our last name, a small detail that shows the level of care.
The hotel itself is something special. Being surrounded by real Inca history gives the whole place a completely different feeling. Seeing the original Inca stonework throughout the property, including the 8-angle stone, makes you realize how unique this location really is. It doesn’t feel like just another hotel, it feels like you’re staying inside history.
We also did the wonderful hotel tour with Ruth, which was very informative. One of the most memorable moments was a performance by a man from Cusco dressed in traditional Inca attire, hearing the Peruvian instruments live was beautiful and a wonderful experience. After that, we did a pisco sour class with Rodrigo at the bar, which was a lot of fun and we end it up staying there for dinner and music.
Our room was beautifully decorated, with paintings, and very comfortable, and the balcony had amazing views. We really enjoyed spending time there. The spa was another highlight, very relaxing, and the massage was incredible. Thank you to Claudia, the attendant at the Spa, for being so helpful and making sure we had exactly what we needed.
Breakfast was also delicious, with a great variety of options.
Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with a genuinely wonderful staff. We left really happy with our stay and would absolutely come back.

You won’t want to leave!
Beautiful hotel in great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived on my birthday and room service showed up with a beautiful and delicious cake. My daughter was sick when we were departing and Daniel the Concierge was so helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to assist us. Daniel the bartender gave a fun pisco sour class and the hotel tour is a “can’t miss” activity.

Happy to be back
A bucket list stay and high point of a holiday in Peru.
Have travelled all over the world and stayed at many a fancy hotel. The Palacio is special both for its ambience and staff.
Had an issue with our air tickets and Ruth at Concierge patiently spoke to Latam for 45 minutes to have them sorted out.

Incredible experience!
Lovely 4 night stay at Palacio del Inka. Checked -in July 4th and checked-out July 8th, 2026. All staff were incredible, professional and highly trained as expected from a 5-star lux hotel. Literally, everyone we encountered.
Front desk agent (so sorry, can’t remember his name) who checked us in on the 4th, was a lovely gentleman who noted my birthday was on the 3rd. He assigned us to room #375. We had a beautiful corner room with balcony, facing the bell tower of Sto. Domingo church and the hills of the city all lit up at night. We could also see the entrance of Qorikancha. The hotel is well located and one can walk easily to plaza de armas, ATMs, shops, restaurants, the 12-angled stone and San Pedro Market. Our room was comfortable with a walk-in closet not just to hang clothes but to store your luggage, keeping the room clutter-free. If I were to nit-pick, the bathroom was a bit cramped, the shower always sprayed water on the floor, and minima space in the sink. But we made it all work:) If you needed a shower cap or vanity kit, you may have to ask for it. They provide Byredo lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner- a Marriot exclusive I think.
Housekeeping did a great job tidying up our room everyday. We left a tip daily as they may have a change in shift. But I think we had the same young man for all 4 nights. He was always polite. We always had plenty of towels.
They warmly greeted us at the entrance every time we passed by and ready to help with anything.
Breakfast buffet was amazing. Omar the server was prompt and efficient.
Check-out was handled by Diego, friendly and courteous as well.
Shout out to the concierge crew who were always ready to answer all kinds of questions.
Lastly, Josver the bellman who saved us from feeling stressed at check-out. There was a street closure by our hotel so we weren’t sure where to wait for our uber. Josver took care of our luggage and walked us to the right spot. He reminded the driver we had 4 pieces of luggage in the trunk and got us safely in the vehicle. Like a dad, he made sure we had our passports and phones with us So, so genuinely helpful! Thank you so much Josver and everyone at Palacio del Inka for making our stay a memorable one!
