Great Lunch Place After Visiting Sacsayhuamán

We didn't stay at this hotel but we did eat at the restaurant. We were on our way back from visiting Sacsayhuamán and I remember I had seen a sign about a cafe so we stopped here and ate lunch w/a view. We had sandwiches and lemonades.

Disaster of a hotel

Hotel in terrible condition, the room is in a basement, I was very cold, the bathroom had hair stuck to the tiles, the breakfast was ridiculous, only the staff, who were young people trying to compensate for the hotel's shortcomings with their kindness, were commendable; I had 2 nights booked but I left to find another hotel for the second night.

I loved it!

Super well organized hotel, clean and beautiful. Great service. The location is good, relatively close to the center and the Plaza Mayor but has a huge slope to climb and this tends to get tired a lot. Breakfast could have improved but only in terms of variety. We loved the fact that they always made the snack on the days we had to leave before the coffee. However, I found that the heater that has in the rooms did not account for the cold of -1° that we felt when we woke up. Should have a more powerful heater and a blackout in the rooms pq the clarity interfered too much. We loved their stay and service but I think it should improve!

It was clean and the staff were friendly, breakfast options are standard and a bit of variety would have been nice, maybe some fruit as well as the eggs. Easy access by taxi as not all places are easy to find or access by car.

After developing food poisoning, I made a last minute booking here based on the positive reviews i saw. What a mistake. The rooms had no working wifi, and the owner refused to help or address the issue, despite me mentioning it multiple times. His only solution was to offer wifi codes to wifi that didnt reach the room. Plus I didnt even get cell phone reception in the room, so I spent 3 awful days isolated in the rooms. Furthermore, the rooms were cold, and the space heaters did nothing to warm the room, and everytime I showered, every square inch of the bathroom would get covered in a moisture that would take all day to evaporate. I regretted my entire stay there, the only positive was the very nice staff at the restaurant, and the quality of the kitchen.
