The best hosts you can wish!!!

Chamo and Anita make you a part of there family, they are really the sweetest and most helpful people you can wish. For us it felt like home and you actually don’t want to leave!! The location is close to the market and about 20 min. from the city centre by foot.

Family feeling stay

I stayed at La Casa De Chamo for almost a month, my experience was amazing as it felt like home. Anita and Chamo made me felt welcome to their place and treated me more as a friend/family more than a customer. Would recommend this place if you are staying in Arequipa, affordable and close to the centre.

Very friendly and quiet place!

Chamo is a very friendly guy who has heart for his place. The location is quiet, which is great. Only 25 minutes walk to the historic center of Arequipa.Two kitchens, two bathrooms (and one private extra).
We had to wake up at 3:00 AM twice and he made sure we left safely. Overall, it was a good stay!

Pleasant

We had a comfortable stay at Chamo's house. Chamo himself is very friendly and helpful. The dorm room was clean and comfy. Kitchen was decent though small so cramped when several people are trying to use at the same time. Hot shower between 10am-6pm... which I think is not uncommon in Arequipa. Laundry service available. Good wifi. Good location near the bus terminal and Palomar market. Quiet neighbourhood. Free luggage storage if you go to the canyon for a few days.

Home away of home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chamo's. Chamo and his mum are super warm and welcoming. The rooftop terrace was a great place to spend some time. We could wash and use the kitchen. The neighbourhood is quiet. Internet is fast. Chamo walked us down to the shops, local market and even helped us organising parts for our car (place fits approx two cars).
We would stay again if we returned to Arequipa. Thank you Chamo
