Good prices and nice service

Casa del Sol includes different places : one property has simple rooms and studios with kitchen but no pool, another one has 2 floor houses with common pool area. So you must make sure your booking matches the pictures you saw at the moment of booking. Paul is a very helpful contact in all matters. He picks you up and drop you off at the ferry. Casa del Sol rents golf carts which are the favourite transport device on the island (although not cheap). Casa del Sol has certainly one of the best quality/price combination on the island. Also there is one of the good/cheap restaurants of the island (Angelina) just a short walk away.

Somewhat disappointed

The way this bed and breakfast is displayed, on sites like booking or trip advisor, is somewhat misleading because it shows pictures of very different lodgings, although they all belong to the same property. So, my advice from now on: check and confirm what you are really booking. On the other hand, in our case we were a family with a teenager, so we booked a room / studio with an extra bed. Clearly the room had no capacity for this which resulted in something uncomfortable during our stay. Bad quality/price ratio, although accommodation and food prices throughout the island are clearly inflated. Anyway, staff is ok trying to assist in what they can, breakfast just on average.

take care when you book

there is something confusing about the photos they put here :
I had a room at a crossroad possibly the busiest on the island, with very little traffic indeed but near the garbage dump so you can hear the trucks passing by... very pleasant...
I didn't see the swimming pool but when I asked for it they told it was another hotel, same owner, called Casa del Sol something like "premium" I don't remember exactly but you can't know when you book a bit confusing so it's a bit dishonest.
except for that, it's ok, correct, staff helpful, breakfast is correct too...
but I don't think it's the best value on the island

Beautiful spot.

Stayed at Casa del Sol for 4 nights. We were met off the ferry by a staff member and his golf cart for the short journey to the BnB but every where on the island is a short distance because it’s so small. The BnB is situated in the middle of the island and the best beach, with its own bar and restaurant are a 10 minute walk away. Our room faced west with a patio for our sole use and was equipped with both air con and a large fan.The room was clean, with a good sized bed and an adjacent shower room. Plenty of hanging space and a fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was eggs anyway you want them and fruit of the day. The room had everything else, cornflakes, milk, bread butter, jam and drinks necessary to make your own breakfast. The staff were so good, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. A special mention about Paul the manager who led his team from the front and helped make our stay so enjoyable.

Cute, Comfortable Spot on the Island

This B&B is comfortable. The rooms are clean, the ambiance is very cute, the vibe is colorful, and the host (Anke) is hospitable and welcoming. I cannot speak enough about how welcoming she and her staff were.
The breakfast is mostly pineapple and hard boiled eggs. It is brought to your room on a tray. The showers have good pressure, the towels are clean, and the bathroom is clean.
I like the door-locking mechanism with the key on both sides. I also like the Sky TV. It was good to have ESPN! Wifi works very well.
The location is great. Such an easy drive to Playa Cacique, the most tranquil beach on the island. Anything is close, really, with the golf cart. The cart rental is one of the better rates on the island.
Anke or her staff will pick you up from the ferry upon arrival, and will drop you off for departure.
Overall, I would absolutely stay again.
