A fine, friendly and rural stay
During our walking tour through Limburg slept here for two nights. We had a nice clean room with nice bed, the bathroom was modern and clean. Outside the room we had a seat.
Friendly owner who thinks along and helps where she can.

Fire alarm goes off during frying eggs she got angry anyway and threaten with fine €750 is extractor not connected so yes then is not crazy
Poor ventilation no air conditioning or anything to air properly

Once but never again!
We had booked through Booking.com but the owner removed the negative review there, so I put it here again. I find it utterly ridiculous if accommodation owners can remove negative reviews themselves.
Around 08.30 we arrived at the breakfast room where the owner initially ignored us and also did not say good morning or welcome us. She asked us to wait a while, 1 man (hard of hearing) did not hear it. The owner then became very angry and threw the fresh bread rolls half over the ground. No apology or explanation on her part. Sandwiches lying on the floor were put back in the bread basket. The cat also just walked through the room so not very hygienic. And it smelled unsavory.
Because of this bad situation, we more or less fled. We felt unwelcome and very uncomfortable. We've never seen this before.
There was crap all over the entrance. The passage to the parking lot is lousy. To the rooms the crawl through / sneak through so not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The outside lighting is bad. There are a lot of loose chickens and roosters so also a lot of chicken shit on the doorstep. The bed is very soft and was poorly covered with a pleat of 10cm in the bottom sheet. Bedside tables are absurdly small, 10 x 12 cm. Bed stands for a socket which you can therefore not use. There is a very narrow walkway along the bed on two sides (room 6).
You have to shower in the bath which is very slippery. There are no handles at the bath. Furthermore, only 1 of the 2 lamps worked in the bathroom. Terrace chairs were sitting for nothing and there is a closet humming near the terrace. And further borders with a lot of junk. There are many hikers overnight but you can't buy a drink. Maybe a vending machine is a good idea..

Not for cyclists!!!
Because of a diversion I could not take my bike on the main road and was looking for another route and ended up at holiday homes Meschermolen. There I was chased away from the site by the owner whom I politely asked for a detour under the guise that all cyclists are anti-social. She told me that she had nothing with cyclists and she didn't rent houses to this either.
So tip: if you want to cycle in South Limburg you are not welcome in this accommodation.
Thus a converted South Limburger.

Rude owner
Nice location, but never experienced such a rude host before. On arrival, the first words from her mouth were threats of a wheel clamp. Without it being clearly indicated where to park. When we wanted to sit at the table in front of our house she immediately rushed to admonish us that it did not belong to us. Not much later she came by around 6 o'clock and bit us that we would fly out immediately if we kept the music on. The house itself was comfortable, but the large amount of roosters in the courtyard and around the house start to crow early before dawn. The breakfast room is certainly not recommended due to a strong smell of cat piss.
