Great hotel with good location
My review is based on having spent 1 night in a standard double room.
The price-quality, as is usually the case with a hotel in this chain, is just fine. The room was spacious enough for 1 night and was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar and an individual adjustable air conditioning.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet.
Both the bathroom and the room were clean and everything looked well cared for. It was also nice that the windows can open and that, even then, you do not suffer from traffic noise.
The beds I found, but that is a matter of personal preference, far too soft. I'm used to sleeping on a hard mattress. The pillow was, for my taste, also far too thin, but despite those comments I still got around to getting enough sleep.
The staff I had to deal with at check-in and check-out were friendly and helpful. The same can be said about the staff at breakfast.
There too I would do some things differently, but overall the quality of the breakfast was also fine.
If I go back, I would sometimes book a comfort room, to experience if there is a difference in beds, because the quality of that was the only real flaw.

Beste gast,

Clean, whacky and erm?!
Lovely clean hotel. Quirky. Really enjoyed our stay, me and the teen.
The food is awful, gloopy gravy for me, worse for my vegetarian daughter... food inedible. Very slow service. But the staff are lovely as was the atmosphere. Go figure!
We loved our stay in a beautiful clean room, hated the food, loved the warm welcome, detested that my son really struggled to get up to the entrance in his wheelchair, loved the drink prices.... The contrasts were massive.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay with us.
I am pleased to read that you enjoyed the warm welcome from our team, the atmosphere of the hotel and the cleanliness of your room. It is always rewarding to hear that these aspects contributed positively to a stay.
At the same time, I am sorry to read that your dining experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the food quality, the service speed and the accessibility of the entrance are concerning and certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as feedback like yours helps us identify where we can do better.
I will share your comments with the relevant teams so we can review these points carefully. Every guest should be able to enjoy both our hospitality and our facilities comfortably.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back in the future and provide a more consistent experience.
Kind regards,
Annet

Annet

I stumbled upon this place on Expedia while playing a high-stakes game of "where am I driving next in the Netherlands," and it turned out to be the ultimate win. Hands down the best hotel of my trip so far! The place was so clean I’m pretty sure you could eat your breakfast off the floor (though I used the table like a civilized human).
The absolute highlight? Watching the Dutch squad take on Japan in the World Cup right there in the hotel, cheering alongside the locals. The room itself was immaculate and the bed was dangerously comfortable. A massive shoutout to the rockstar at the front desk—she was incredibly sweet when I arrived, and somehow just as impossibly chipper and helpful when I checked out the next morning. 10/10, would absolutely stay again!

Food not good
Room was fine but dinner I didn't like. Not tasty, meat with tendons, for breakfast strawberries far from fresh

Beste Esther,
