Quite satisfactory

Ideal for a short stay in Amsterdam with friends. The room is very simple but sufficient for a few days: hair dryer, shower, TV, and we appreciated the view not on the road side but rather on the side where we could see the other buildings behind.
Small downside, the stairs to climb, but it is known in Amsterdam that in many typical houses, there are steep stairs.
The staff is very kind and warm, we recommend it!

If you just need a place to crash and it isn’t during a hot summer day it is alright. Room was very hot with no AC and street outside is too noisy for open windows at night.

The daily beauty of Amsterdam

I attended an Oudheusden family reunion of 48 wonderful folks. Staying on the barge was a dream realized. We ued public transportation and walked and walked. We pretty much had one car, the tram transportation was great.
Visited the beautiful Portuguese Jewish Synagogue, the Anglican Church and the zoo. I would recommend each of them.
My favorite food was the Gouda (the prices have gone up), salmon, and white asparagus. My favorite restaurant was the Badhuis in Javaplein, Tram 14.

Hotel Abba is in an ideal location for Vondel Park, Museum Area and Leidesplien. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to by tram, direct from Central Station.
