It's fine in the context it's in

There isn't much else to stay in Masirah, apart from a couple of other modest hotels and a prestigious resort. On the southern edge of Hilf is this eye-catching hotel, with beautiful seafront views. All in all it's clean, the rooms are spacious and it's quiet. It does not have a lift, but if the room is on the first floor, it requires a few steps. The flaw is the bathroom, dated and worn sanitary fixtures and a shower in the middle of the bathroom which floods everything a bit. However, for the price, the location and also the cleanliness it is very good. I tried the breakfast for 5 euros and wouldn't do it again. I just needed some milk and it wasn't there. Or the flavored one in a can, or Yoghurt.
However I would do this stay again.

base for excursions

In the limited availability of hotels on the island of Masirah, Al Khaleej is at the top as it is close to the port, close to the shops and quite well-kept. the rooms are small but bright, they do not have a balcony but overlook the sea. the bathroom was small but clean, mostly savory breakfast, well-made omelet, bread and jam, condensed milk and tea, Nescafè, low price. I recommend it as a destination for exploring the white beaches of the island......

excellent budget hotel

Excellent Budget stay option on the island, very friendly and helpful staff, ground floor rooms towards the beach have direct access to the beach that was the best and my kids loved it.
they have an in house restaurant but we opted for another restaurant which is just opposite to the hotel which serves Indian and Arabic food.

2 nights stay

The location of the hotel is near the landing of the ferry, About 1 km drive in the south direction on the beach side. We got a huge room with two good beds. There was a small bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The room had airconditioning, a TV and a fridge. To sit there was a coach and two armchairs. The employés of the hotel and kitchen were very helpfull and friendly in solving requests. The restaurant served a nice continental breakfast and Omani diner. You have however to realise you are in Oman.

Nice little hotel in good location

We really enjoyed our stay here so much so we booked to stay a second night. The place is clean and the room (triple) was very spacious with a sea view. The staff were very friendly and really went out of their way. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and very reasonable. If you’re travelling with young kids there are multiple play areas within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall a great stay at a very reasonable price.
