Love this place. Stayed many times. Always great. Best for couples who like axwalk into town.

Not worth the $$$
View was amazing from apartment 308A. But the apartment itself was less than amazing - dirty marks on walls, stains on carpet, cracked cook top. Really disappointing for the $$$ paid. The whole complex looked tired.

Huge disappointment
Do not stay here unless you want no room refreshening. It is never cleaned even with a 4 night stay. This is like post-COVID even though just experienced a multi-day stay in Auckland in a similar facility where the room was freshened daily.
The apartment provided only 2 washcloths but 4 towels when the norm should be an equal number of each! We have stayed in 100s of hotels throughout the world and never had such poor housekeeping. When requesting clean towels/washcloths from a housekeeper she said she would ask if they could be provided. (Had to ask!) There are no restaurant options at the facility nor are there any within easy walking distance. The property is on a steep hill so we used Uber at $10+ one way to travel into and from the city center.
The following is from an e-mail by property management the day prior to checkout;
“We kindly ask that, as you prepare for departure, you leave the unit in a tidy condition. It would be a great help if you could assist our housekeeping team by removing any excess rubbish to the colour-coded bins located at the back of the undercover car parks, and by loading and starting the dishwasher (Lakeview Apartments only). These small actions make a big difference to our team.
We trust the room will be in good condition upon departure, but please note that if the unit is left in an unsatisfactory state – such as rubbish or food leftovers on furniture, floors, or any surfaces, or even body fluids on sheets and towels – a cleaning fee of $90 will apply to cover additional housekeeping time, along with any potential damage costs.” How unbelievable to receive such belittling correspondence.
If you want to be treated as an unwelcome pest this is it.

Nice apartment but parking an issue
We stayed 4 nights from the 21st of March in a double lakeview room which was allocated as 109A, this was on the lower level and as we had 4 suitcases, it was difficult getting them down to the room as there were approximately 20 steps and the last few were in the dark. The other issue is there was limited parking on site, we couldn’t get parked on site or on the road and one morning we tried to go out to get coffee and couldn’t as were blocked in. I would suggest they allocate spaces to each apartment to avoid this issue, so if people have more than 1 car, they use the road. Apart from those 2 issues the apartment was nice, it was large and clean. There is a safe, iron/board, washing machine, smart TV in the room, the shower was powerful and the bed was comfortable. You could walk into the centre in 15 minutes if you wished (up hill on the way back). Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Location is good with walking distance to Queenstown downtown. But there is small slope when returning to apartment which may be a consideration.
Overall the view is good and quiet. With the comprehensive facilities, we enjoyed the cooking at the apt with chill and easy dining. View to the harbor is unforgettable.
Will visit again when returning to Queenstown!
